Description

Make chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered pretzels, cake pops and more with the Wilton Candy Melting Pot. It features an easy-to-clean and convenient removable silicone pot with an ergonomic, heat-resistant handle and two easy-pour spouts — perfect for pouring melted candy into a decorating bag or drizzling directly onto treats. Once finished, simply chill the silicone pot until the candy hardens, then gently squeeze the soft silicone insert to pop out the remaining candy. The pot has two temperature settings, warm and melt so you can quickly melt up to 2 ½ cups of Candy Melts candy or chocolate in less than 10 minutes and keep it warm for dipping. An innovative heating base stays cool to the touch, a safety light indicates when the pot is on and it has rubber feet to keep it steady and in place on your counter. Powered by a standard 120-volt cord with polarized plug. Complete instructions included. Instructions- Wash removable silicone pot before and after each use. Be sure silicone pot is completely dry before adding candy. To preheat, place silicone pot in heating base; turn switch to Melt for 5 minutes. Use Wilton Candy Melts candy or chop melting chocolate into small pieces. Use smaller amounts for faster melting. Stir candy occasionally until completely melted. Add more candy if desired, up to MAX FILL line. When completely melted, move switch to Warm to keep candy fluid. If candy begins to cool and thicken, switch back to Melt. When finished, switch to Off and let pot cool before cleaning.

This is the easiest way to melt chocolate and make lollipops and candy. Follow the directions exactly and it hasn't failed yet. Sturdy. Extremely easy to clean. This little pot works just fine. Melts chocolate to perfection... but the one thing negative, is that Wilton falsely advertises that there is a second spare pot included. It's on the box; but in the box; there is only one pot. There is no spare. Wilton should correct their packaging or include the spare pot. ... show more

Made making infused chocolates really easy. Was able to pour into molds and place back in the warmer so I could prep the next batch. The silicon melting cup does seem a tad thin but perhaps that is just the way these work. After the remaining chocolate hardened up I was really careful not to puncture the silicon when I broke it off the cup. I'm a bit clumsy. I do wish the dial/switch was labeled melt/warm instead of 1 and 2. Now I have to save the instructions to remember. Just a nit pick. I got my moneys worth out of my first use. ... show more

I bought this because I was making chocolate covered pretzels, oreos, and cake pops for an event. It worked well, didn't have any issues with the functionality of it. However, I received the box a little dinged up and the dual pot/piece was missing. It only had the single pot piece. I thought that maybe a divider was supposed to be in the box but no. I was missing a whole piece. I didn't have time to send it back because I needed it to make my treats. I basically just chucked it up as a loss.
