I was kind of skeptical about these rugs that can come fold it up in a box and are washable. I couldn’t be happier. It is super soft. The colors are vibrant. Thickness is perfect and it does have a skid proof bottom, so the rug does not move. As for being able to wash it, he would probably have to take it to a laundromat and use a big machine, but it’s nice to know that that is an option as we do have dogs. I got this as an affordable temporary area rug to have in the bedroom while I wait for the larger rug I bought to stop smelling like chemicals. I was amazed how soft this rug is. I just want to keep running my hands over it. Before I even had it laid out flat the cat was rolling all over it, rubbing his face into enjoying the softness lol. It did not smell strongly of chemicals when it arrived. I let it air out for a couple days before I put it inside just in case and it smells fine. Its thin, which I find to be a worthwhile trade-off because it means it can be thrown in the washer! And I can always get a pad to go underneath if I want something with more cushion. Its so beautiful and soft, I am actually considering ditching the larger rug I bought and just using this one with a carpet pad underneath. I highly recommend! ... show more

I was looking for a soft, good quality and washable rug and this was the one! It’s super cute and seems to hold up well in the few days we have had it. It’s also non slip and that makes it 10x better. It was packaged in a box folded up but had virtually no wrinkling.
