I got a carbon fiber tailpiece and carbon fiber bridge and replaced the original ones and blacked out my violin made it look cooler plus carbon fiber bridge last about 50 years. Wooden ones last about 3-5 years. One the strings wasn’t attached to one the pegs but I restringed it wasn’t a big deal to me. Others that have no clue probably think it was messed up. My grandpa was from Ukraine and my grandma was Russian they taught my mom to play violin organ and piano. My mom taught me little violin when I was a kid so I know little about violins. My grandpa started a orchestra in his church when we were growing up. He was very good on violin. But I got it stringed up and still got tune it with the tuner but I got it playable pretty close by hand without the tuner. I also brought a carbon fiber bow with Mongolian black horse hair but one came with it was actually pretty decent and intact. Case was pretty nice with handle to carry or strap to carry on your shoulder. If you want a nice violin to play at home it sounds good and is playable. If you aren’t mechanically inclined take it to a music shop to get it tuned up and put bridge on so you don’t mess up nothing and sure they give you advice on how it works . YouTube got plenty helpful videos too to watch. But hope that helps you out with some ideas to get started with it.

One of the worst product they I ever bought. It may look nice but it is not worth a dime. It can not be tuned at all. The tuning pegs were so poorly crafted it was IMPOSSIBLE to tune. They held no tension, and strings were pulling the tuning pegs back. Even worse, when trying to play any pressure on the string by bow and pegs would unraveled even more.

My kids school leans on the classical side, so when we found out that they would be learning violin as early as first grade I thought it would be a good idea to have one on hand that they could use as they learn. Although this one is a bit bigger than the small child size they're learning on, we had the music teacher check it out and set it up for us, and she confirmed that it was perfectly adequate to use as they grew up. We were all impressed with the amount of accessories there were included, including the protective case, and everything you'd need to set it up and maintain it. It does take a bit of work on the front end to get it tuned and adjusted correctly, so it is a pretty good idea to allow a pro to help you with that. Overall, for the price, we are satisfied with it. Although the school provides violins for the kids to use during school hours, it is Handy to have one of your own that you can use for practice or for performances in the church orchestra as well. We are definitely happy with it!

I bought this violin as my first violin. It was missing items. It does not have a instruction manual or the template for the cords. The bow also had strings broken and hanging off. I would not buy this again. Not a good buy

This was purchased for my 9 year old granddaughter for her 4th year in elementary, 1st time in orchestra. She has kept it clean and always in its fairly surtdy case. The resin could be of better quality but that can be handled at another time.

there is a specific way to tighten your strings. highly recommend a quick google search before claiming defective. I know from experience. I received mine this morning and wanted to get it set up to make sure everything was good before handing it off as a Christmas gift to my child. when tightening the strings the pegs would just come loose, so naturally i went tighter until poof the string snapped. I immediately filed for a return. But maybe its me, i admitted to my self i had no idea on how to string an instrument so i did a quick search on google and sure enough there is a proper way to tighten your strings. Its very simple and you will probably kick yourself in the but for returning. Instead of returning ill just get a couple extra string sets and not worry about missing Christmas.
