Was excited to receive this and took it to a job the same day cutting some sheet metal on a roof. Made it about 18 inches on first cut and the head broke off. The blade was also broken off and not sure which broke first. There was the other side but I went back to using my shears because I can't have broken tool parts falling from the roof potentially hurting someone below. Maybe this was a fluke but was quiet disappointed that it broke on the very first cut. I may just use the other part around the shop ... show more

    • Watch out for the scrap!!!!!
Worked well for cutting curved shapes and weird angles. Odd handling the cutter handle, drill and work piece. Works best if you clamp down the sheet then focus on cutting. (This applies to all nibblers not just this model). PSA: watch where you use this cutter. Unlike other metal cutters, this one creates tiny crescent shaped pieces. These pieces get everywhere and are sharp!!! They get embedded in the bottom of your shoes, and get tracked around the house. Needless to say, you won’t like finding them later! ... show more

Bought this to cut a circle in an 18 ga stainless food prep table for a big green egg. It worked great, attached to my 18v cordless drill. It cut through the tabletop like a knife through butter. Nice worksmanship, cuts efficiently Included Spare parts will extend tool life. I made an adapter to hold the tool rigid in relation to the drill that powers it so I guide it along the intended path without having extra hands. Nice storage box to hold everything.

    • Not for precise cutting.
I really don't care for tools that take a lot of practice. Very hard to cut on a line because the cutting head is in the way. Tool leaves little cuttings on the shop floor that get in the soles of my boots. Wife won't let me in the house because the cuttings scratch the hardwood floor. I have to clean my soles with my pocket knife. I think i'll go back to snips. ... show more

Took a second to figure out how to use, but once I did, it worked GREAT! Highly recommended over much more expensive tools. A little more practice and it will look much cleaner now that I know how to line it up to cut properly.

Handly tool. Added on to a metal building. Used this for small cuts in duraloc panels, 24 guage. Its not real fast but works good.

    • Remarkable in tight spots
I'm an HVAC tech. This tool is well built. With four extra cutting heads it will last a long time. Great for cutting take offs on preexisting trunk line where before it was virtually impossible to reach with hand tools or other cutters on the market. GREAT PRODUCT!
