(Pictures are after I removed the foam I didn’t need. I put a 6oz sunscreen spray bottle in the one picture for reference of how tall the pillow is after removing ABOUT 1/4th the foam). No extra foam included, but they are overly-filled with foam so they are quite thick and firm. I got it for my 4 year old and had to remove 3 gallon-sized ziplock bags worth - probably about 1/4th of the foam to get it thinner and safer for my young child. They were fully to size within maybe a few hours. They do come with a pretty strong smell - I haven’t tried the drier option yet; if they still smell strong tomorrow after 24 hours of airing out, then I’ll try the dryer option. They are very soft fabrics and soft squishy foam (the more foam you leave in, the firmer it is and the more you take out, the squishier it is). It does come with two zip pillowcases. The first one contains all the purple foam and is seemingly a basic zippered pillowcase. The 2nd one is the outer white/blue zippered casing that goes over the 1st casing. The 2nd casing is the soft/cooling one you see in the pictures and description. The white side is extra soft and the blue side is noticeably cooling (still soft but more of a slick soft vs the white is more plush soft) Things I would change: - less smell (I don’t mind that there is some smell initially, but it’s taking longer to dissipate than preferred and it is pretty strong) - wish it came with a large sealable bag to put the extra foam in for people that don’t want that thick or firm of a pillow. I used 3 gallon sized ziplock bags to remove estimated 1/4th of the foam best guess. Not absolutely necessary, but would be a nice touch. - maybe I missed the info, but I wish either the inner or the outer pillowcase was a ‘protector’ as in: waterproof, hypoallergenic, bedbug & dust mite protection. I’m probably going to order a true protector, remove the 2nd outer cooling casing, put on the actual protector, and then put the cooling cover on as a 3rd casing. I feel silly maybe having so many casings but the 1st is important to contain the foam, 2nd to protect the pillow, & 3rd to have the cooling & softness features. 🤷🏻♀️ it is what it is I guess. ... show more

We both are loving this pillow and I just wanted to comment on it because finding a really good pillow like this is hard to come by especially for the price. My girlfriend and I both got one and its been great. It has the adjustable filling so for me, I took a little bit out so it wasn't quite as firm (which is what is in the plastic bag in the attached picture), but for her she left it as is and its perfect for her taste. I was worried that once I took some of it out it would never be the same but the filling used in this is awesome & it simply molded right back together. The cooling aspect is a bonus as it wound up being surprisingly more efficient at cooling than I had initially expected based on previous "cooling" pillows I've had in the past. We wanted what has seemed so difficult to find before which is that perfect feeling "Goldilocks" pillow and somehow on Prime day we managed to stumble upon this and I can't say enough. This set of pillows comes overstuffed with pieces of memory foam. That's a really good thing because you can vary the thickness of the pillows just by removing some foam. I took out two zippered gallon bags of foam from each pillow to get them at the right puffiness for me. There is no strong odor from the foam, only a little bit. After unwrapping them from their shrink rolls, I left the pillows for a couple of days to plump up. I slept on one after that, and there was no smell at all. The foam in each pillow is encased in both an inner bag and an outer bag. The inner bag is dense weave fabric, like an allergy encasement. The outer bag is the pillow cover. One side of the pillow is smooth and shiny (the cooling side), and the other is more soft and plush. ... show more

These pillows are amazing. The recovery is good, a little fluff after sleeping on them overnight and the memory foam did what is should, recovered well. The cooling side of the pillow case works, even using a pillow case the cooling effect was still noticeable. What I really appreciate is the way I am able to manipulate the pillow. While it is firm you are also able to make the pillow do what woks for you. The more expensive pillows, not a chance. The more expensive pillows are awful and hard. I am not able to adjust, take out or add filling to those pillows. I only wish I had come across these WISHSMILE pillows before spending money on the other useless pillows. These are some of the most comfortable sleeping pillows I’ve ever owned. It came with 2 which was perfect. My wife sleeps on her back, me on my side and neither one of us had to remove any foam for them to be comfortable. They are cool at night and I don’t wake up anymore with a stiff neck. I’ve had big brand name “memory foam” and “particle foam” (similar to this style) before and could never really get it adjusted to actually be comfortable and for the price you CANNOT beat these AND they were king size. ... show more

I was skeptical about getting these pillows cause people were commenting that they have a chemical smell when they got them, luckily that wasn’t my case. I let the pillows air out for 24 hrs, but they really just left my room smelling like powdery lavender- personally, I was in heaven. I did leave one pillow as is and the other one I removed half the stuffing because I like changing pillow textures depending on my position. I was skeptical when first opening the package, they were all flat, but as you follow the directions and fluff them up, they area AMAZING! I've slept better since I got these pillows than I have in a year or so. They're firm enough yet soft enough and the best part is you can control how firm or soft it is. I have bought these as gifts and also for use at my second home for overnight guests. Very bizarre when they first arrive. It takes a while for them to puff up. The next day you will sleep in comfort. Very cool to sleep on…if you don’t like firm pillows this is not for yiu.
