Bought this red 688 car kit out of desperation after struggling with the CaDA orange car. The red one was lightyears better. The instructions were clear. The legos popped together with authority. No missing parts. Built the car in half the time. Once built it stayed together. The only problem was having parts scattered in 5 or 6 bags and having to search for many minutes. Lego kits are labeled to match installation sequences. That’s probably why the wiseplay / CaDA sets are 1/3rd the price.

My son loves tearing it apart and putting back together. It's very fun to use. Only thing is the battery pack doesn't turn off. It stays on all the time so I'm having to charge it more often but it's a great product

My son built this and loved it except he was a little disappointed (more-so than necessary) when he got to the end because the front end was missing some pieces so he had "worked so hard and couldn't complete it". We talked through the small details and he enjoyed driving it around after.

While the motor for steering works, the motor for the rear wheels DOES NOT work. I bought this while my kids were out of country and when they returned and assembled the car, found that the car will not move forward or backward. When I examined it, I can hear the rear motor, but it does not spin the wheels. These are garbage as RC. Its very tough when your kids are disappointed and its 10 days past the return window. UPDATE: the seller did reach out and agreed to refund me for the non-functional motor, so I adjusted the rating from 1 to 3 stars for customer service response.
