Very happy with this thing. Inexpensive and gets the job done. My original Switch 1 controller started pulling left (not a good problem to have if Link is high up on a cliff or walking near lava); re-calibrating didn't fix the old controller. Initial setup felt awkward... "Change Grip/Order" doesn't intuitively feel like the right menu option for pairing a controller, but it worked correctly. If there were half stars, I would rate it 4.5/5. Sometimes it can't wake the Switch up from sleep mode, so I have to dig out the old controller to get started. Haven't owned it long enough to speak to durability.

My switch joy cons were acting up, and couldn’t fix the issue of it veering left on its own. Decided to buy this, and couldn’t be happier. It’s much more comfortable to use and feels like a very solid controller. I only need to charge this once in a while, as the battery lasts pretty long. Great price, worth getting as an upgrade to joy cons.

I love testing and sharing budget controllers. I wanted to try this one as I popped up in suggestions because of 1 feature I noticed. The finger grooves on the red and blue controller. I want to love this, it could be the perfect budget controller on here with a few changes honestly. I'm 2 days and around 10hrs of FN on testing. I'll start with the pros.. PROS: The finger grooves are an amazing addition for the pinky and ring finger! The shape is kinda between a PS and Xbox style. The handles are the perfect angle and thiner so they fit nicely in a natural holding position. It connected easily and the M1/M2 program quick and simple and can be changed in the middle of the game in seconds! They don't get in the way naturally holding the controller and both have a very nice dotted grip on each. Battery is pretty good so far as well. Response time with all buttons are on point, no lag at all. CONS: the first thing I noticed in the first match is this controller lack texture/grips. Not only at the bottom of the red/blue that sits in the palms, but also the triggers and unfortunately the sticks. The ZR/ZL do have a good curve design that counters the no texture so it's not a big deal there, but bumpers and sticks could use it. The stick are just slick. It has " a texture " kinda, but it's a slick texture, not a grip or ribbed texture your thumbs can grab. Adding the same texture that's on the M1/M2 to the top, D pad, and a grip to the thumb and palm area, would definitely take this controller to a new level. The last issue was by the time I played my last match, the left stick was already starting to drift after just 10 hours of gameplay. Not a bad controller for the price, but if you need to add grips and deal with drift, it can make the price jump double very fast.
