I bought the Zumimall GX1S Camera and the Compatible Solar Panel last week. I just Love the clarity of this Model. The Night Vision is Superb. I already own 7 of the smaller Zumimall A3 models. I have a camera at every door at all my entrances down the street so I can see who's driving in and out of our Private Road. They all are such great Camera's that I can even read The License Plates on all the cars coming and going. The Larger Zumimall GX series can be placed farther away from your homes internet because if the Range received by the 2 Antenna's. I just Live this new set-up of the Zumimall GX1S and matching Solar Panel I'll probably buy more. If I can recommend any Camera's to all who read this review go with and buy Zumimall. My brother in Law was just in town from Virginia where he lives and he owns 4 Arlo Pro series after staying here at our house for a couple of weeks he got a chance to view all my camera's and he said when he gets back to Virginia he's going to sell his Arlo Camera System and buy some Zumimall camera's for his house and his rental properties. He was so impressed with my camera system he's jumped ship on Arlo and is moving over to Zumimall camera's. They're some of the best Camera's for the price and ease of installation and the App is so easy to use the addition of camera's is easy everything about Zumimall Camera's ease of the App I can't say enough good stuff about them. My suggestion is go out and buy a Zumimall Camera system to protect you and your love ones and your property you'll Love them.

I purchased this Security Camera in 2022 and a several Zumimall Cameras since that time. The Camera is designed well and has numerous features such as: 1.Motion Detection (with Human Detection); 2.Night Vision; 3.Wireless (with 85% or greater reception); 4.Speaker - Hold to Talk; 5.Siren Alarm; 6.Easy to use Smart-Phone App; 7.Easy to install Solar Panel; 8.Very reliable and high quality Zumimall Brand; 9. Excellent customer service. A special acknowledgement to Caitlyn in Customer Support. She was Efficient and Professional. Caitlyn has a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction. One (1) area for improvement - Need more Time for Continuous recording of an Event. The current software only provides options for Recording Event for 10, 20, or 30 seconds. Only 30 seconds is not enough time to capture a Detection Event. Overall, a great value for the money, reliable with numerous features. I am happy with the product.

Easy to use out of the box. The instructions guide you through downloading the app and is written in simple English. The app will walk you through the setup and the guide will show you the steps that you will be seeing on the screen in case you are confused the first time. I was also confused on how to share the feed do both me and my wife can view the Camara from our phones, well guess what, they include a video on their app to explain it and show you how to do it. The night vision is awesome and I like that I can turn off the status light. We put one in our sons room as he is special needs and sometimes wakes up at random hours like 2 or 3 in the morning some days, sure enough he woke up at 3am this morning and I was able to view him and speak to him quietly to go back to sleep instead of opening the door or telling through the wall, he doesn't go back to sleep but we still tell him too. I went running up in the mountains and got to the top of valley Vista at skyline regional park (Arizona) and my phone chirped. I was able to still see him and soak to him. Turns out I have great service up there as I could not do the same in the parking lot where my service is always poor. Only issue I have is the motion detection for my use, my son was in his room and the thing would be sending my phone notifications about every ten seconds. I understand this camera is built for that and I have found settings allowing you to set a timer to only notify during certain hours, but no seeing showing how often you want it to notify you. Now this is the outdoor version I was testing indoors and the Indoor version arrives next week, maybe the platform will be a little different? Overall this thing is awesome and has exceeded my expectations. You can view live feed as well as the motion detection and it can save videos to your cell phone I found out by accident. If it detects motion and you don't have a card in you can hit record and it will save the data to your phone or other device. I was worried about quality with price and didn't want something super cheap, but I gotta say there isn't really anything on this that says cheap. Hope this review helps.

This review is for the Zumimall ZS-GX1S I was in the market for a wireless camera to use to investigate employee theft. I needed something that was motion activated and would be able to be hidden in a stockroom and record wrong doings. I came across this item because it seemed like it would do the trick and then I could repurpose it to record vehicles since it was fully wireless I would not need to install a power line to it. Reviewing the owners manual they offer a free 3 year warranty extension if you follow the site they provide. The app required is called CloudEdge App. A microSD card (up to 128GB is required to record videos when the sensor detects movement). Battery- Manual states the camera has a built in 10,400mAh 18650 battery which can be used for 3-6 months assuming the camera wakes up to 15 times a day playing video only 10 minutes. There is a solar panel option for fully wireless charging. I could see this thing being used for a high tech trail camera. I was able to set up the camera while still being connected to a charging cable. So I guess you could use it as a wired camera? The app set up had voice prompts which was nice. It walks you through the setup and you enter your wifi password into the app. The app generates a QR code, you then point the camera towards your phone and the camera will snap a picture of the code to configure itself. MUCH better and faster than having to log into the camera and toggle back and forth. The longest part for me was pulling up my Wi-Fi password since it is long and complex. Video quality is acceptable. App has nice features such as battery life and status. It will also show the signal strength and mac and IP address. You can save to the cloud or use the app to access video files saved on the micro SD card. You can also live stream on demand as well as receive notifications. The box says the camera is "IP weatherproof" but does not list the rating. I would say it would be safe to be outdoors but I would not trust it to be in full rain. I would be more worried about water entering through the antennas as well as the speaker. The buttons, sd card and charging slot are protected by a well fitting rubber cover.

Update: 9/23/2021: This is my last update, I'm done screwing with these cameras and customer service. I originally received two that I bought from Amazon, they were useless out of the box. Customer service read my review and sent me to replacements they worked very well up until they needed a firmware update. Long story short, out of four cameras I've received, only one is working. I was able to work with customer service but now they have ghosted me. I would not buy these. I have wasted close to $220 and hours of my time. Save yourself the headaches and just walk away from these. Update: 9/20/2021 I now have 2 working cameras. Customer service tries hard to make things right but with all the issues I've had with these cameras, I wish I could give him three and a half stars but I'll do four only because of the customer service. I'm still not crazy about the cameras because of all the issues. Update: 9/17/2021 The new cameras that they replaced worked for about 3 weeks and then the cameras needed firmware updates but would not upload the update, so I had to contact customer service once again. Customer service was able to get one camera working after many, many emails back and forth, the other replacement camera is useless, it will not update. So in total I bought two cameras which would not send alerts, would not sense motion very well and would go offline constantly. I will also mention that when the first two cameras arrived, the shrink wrap was loosely wrapped around the box and it looked as if they had been opened, so I'm thinking I got returned items or remanufactured, when I was paid for new ones. Then they replaced them, so in total I have four cameras, two were pretty much useless right out of the box, and one replacement stopped working after 3 weeks and now I just have one working camera out of four. I'll give kudos for customer service for trying to help but at the end of the day, I paid for working cameras and I did not get what I paid for. I'mUpdate of the update: 8/28/2021 Customer service replace both cameras and the new ones are working much better, I can't say they are perfect but it may not be the camera's fault, we have trees and other things around us but still a huge improvement over the first ones I purchased. For AWESOME customer service I received and them trying to make things right, I've changed my rating to five stars. Update as of August 22, 2021: after customer service had read my review they reached out and tried to make things right, unfortunately I think there was a communication gap. However, they did send me a new camera to try out and to make things right. With my experience with customer service, I would give them a five-star rating. If the new camera performs any better I will leave another update. Original post: Cameras are useless, they keep going off line, I need to climb up a ladder a couple times a week just to turn them off and on again. The picture quality is pretty good and it captures 90% of motion when working (we have a lot of trees so that doesn't help with detection). The problem could be with the app. you have to use. The app. is constantly losing connection or "connection lost" or it tells me that I have a "poor Network, reconnecting" or "camera off line". I've been right under these cameras and 10 ft away from the modem and the app/cameras still will have issues. I also am not receiving alerts for when the motion detectors detect (unless I'm on the ladder to get them back on line). I'd stay away, unless you enjoy going up and down ladders to reset your cameras and you don't mind a slow connection when burglars are trying to break in, so if you don't mind that, this setup is for you.

In March of 2020, I bought this Zumimall GX1S b/c I wanted a truly wireless security camera (no power cord to plug in, no wired data connection, etc.) that I could use as a "cloud free" security cam, b/c screw paying a monthly fee for that, with good quality video, two way audio for intercomm from phone app, etc. NOTE: I separately purchased a microSD card to insert in the Zumimall GX1S. Once the camera/separately purchased sd card arrived, I charged the camera's built in battery, connected/configured it to/with my Comcast wireless router easily and played around with the Zumimall cam and compatible PlayStore downloaded "Cloud Edge" app's features for a while and then left it sitting on a side table to continue to "test" a couple more days before mounting outside....and roughly 30 feet from the wireless router. Well, then the Corona virus hit and mounting the Zumimall GX1S was no longer a priority, so it sat until yesterday July 26, 2020, when I finally stopped procrastinating and decided to mount it. From the 100% battery charge done in March, the battery was still over 80% in July! Mounting was easy, quality is great, connecting/configuring was easy, audio recording and intercomm feature/quality is great, and the CloudEdge app is straight forward and easy to use...you can quickly change "record" sensitivty on the fly, share "snapshots", videos to Google Drive or through email or whatever you choose, and you can format the sd card from the app is you choose to go the non-Cloud sdCard storage route, etc, etc. I will buy again for additional backyard location! In 4 months, the battery only went from 100% to 80%, so if I only have to go out and unscrew the camera from the mount to bring in to charge it may be once a year, I think this battery powered camera is great and recommend!!! Also, at roughly 30 feet from the wireless router it's connected to, and with no extenders, the wifi signal at the camera is 70%+ depending on weather. So, highly recommended!!!

Pros- large area of coverage, great picture quality even in SD, great night vision, long, long battery life, and records on a micro SD card. I got the 128 card from Amazon also. Only con- the motion detection could be much much better. There are 2 settings to choose from but nothing seems to change. Deliverymen are often gone and out of the picture before it triggers and begins recording. It does record on trigger because it gets me promptly as I open the door. I have contacted customer service but I haven’t received a message of any possible fix. I still intend to buy a second camera to aim straight down the driveway. It never triggers as I walk near my cars or in the yard. I may go with a different brand. And it works fine with the app on my phone. And during Covid 19 lockdown I use the camera live to talk to deliverymen. I can normally hear the truck pull into the drive. I open the app and use the live camera feed to talk and see. ***I like having a camera at the door. I’ve used the microphone to talk to deliverymen and thank them. There are things it doesn’t do perfectly. Mostly having to do with how quickly it begins to record after motion is detected. I think when I add a second camera, I can Adjust them and have them overlap and pickup any activity. I have it set to give me alerts. And I check them often and at the time it is triggered. I rely on the micro SD card and so far it works fine. Battery lasts about a month. A good camera. Needs a better motion sensor that triggers properly. *** update. I’ve discovered that the camera actually takes 2 still pictures when the motion detector is activated. So you do get 2 nice images before the video begins to record. The photo of the dog in my yard. He was gone before the video started. So the thumbnails are actually 2 useful photos. ***Now June. I charge the camera once a month. It does a good job getting movement from right to left. But misses everything from left to right. That’s a motion sensor issue and I don’t get any response to my questions. **** ****Now July. I have no idea why Amazon ignores to post this review.*****

There are many other reviews that provide great detail about setting up and using this camera. I read most of them before buying it. I was very pleased about how easy it was to set up. It was very easy to follow the instructions in the app to quickly get it up and running. I had no problems at all. It is extremely well engineered and well made. Seems to be a very durable piece of equipment. The picture and video quality is excellent. I do have one word of advice (or maybe two). Choose a mounting location that will be accessible to take the camera down for charging. I am using it very hard, recording HD video for one minute each time it is triggered for 24 hours a day. At that rate, the battery does not last 3 months and needs to be charged every few weeks. Second, if you are planning to use the camera as I do, consider getting the package that includes the solar panel. I plan to add one soon. Finally, Zumimall provides excellent customer support. When I registered the camera, I asked several questions. They were quick to respond with answers and suggestions. I am very pleased with this product, recommend it highly, and would (and may) buy it again
