Unless you are standing 10 feet from your recording device, using your camera/phone native microphone will be a better option than this. The sound quality is decent but comes off a little hollow like there is not enough bass in it. The receivers are the problem, they break awfully easily if the phone gets bumped while plugged in. It isn't the manufacturing but the engineering. I've tried multiple brands and had the same problems so I switched to a totally different style of wireless microphone because of it. ... show more

These mics are amazing for the money. I use them quite a bit as my traveling audio setup for video shoots. They do a nice job cancelling out any background/wind noise and sound pretty decent overall. I have noticed when interviewing low talkers, the quality of the audio will drop and sound like a robot. I do wish there was an easy way to adjust gain on the mic itself. As long as you keep your subject talking loudly and clearly, with proper mic placement, no problem - these will work well. ... show more

These lav mics are perfect for the cost. They are inexpensive so you get what you paid for. They can connect to your smartphone or computer if it has a usb-c port. The sound is clear and it cuts out background noises. The only thing I didn’t like is that the little clip doesn’t allow the mic to sit flat on your chest. If you have a flimsy collar it will fall over. It doesn’t affect the recording. It just took me some time to get the hang of it and I make sure to use a shirt with a firm collar. I’ve been using these to record podcasts with guests and I love how easy these are to use. You don’t have to worry about wires or channels. It literally is plug and play. I also like that it comes with a little carrying case. I’ve had to record some podcasts on the go and these make it so easy to bring the equipment along. Overall totally recommend. ... show more
