    • Battery life on this headset is incredible. Wore for over 45 hours and still didn't need charging.
Finally! A wireless gaming headset that my son can play with his PlayStation 5 console. I have ordered several headsets that say they work with PlayStation yet once I received them, they did not work. This headset is "perfect" according to my son. The headset comes with a USB dongle that you plug into the PlayStation console and you are good to go to start playing. Others are either wired and the wires are way too short or they only connect via Bluetooth and we could not get them to pair correctly. These are very easy. I tried this headset on my head and ears myself. They are super comfortable to wear. The ear cushions are so soft that my son wears them for hours without complaints or issues. This headset lights up and the colors are cool. The colors do not distract the player while they are playing. Fortunately, the wearer cannot see the colors while the headset is being worn. This is actually a very good feature. The sound quality is very good. He no longer has to YELL to talk to his friends online. The noise cancellation works great. It blocks out all background noise and distracting voices. The best feature of all - the battery life is incredible. Per my son "My previous headset only lasted 10 hours at a time before you had to recharge it. This pair states that they will last approximately 50 hours at a time." When I put them to the "battery test" to see how long I could use them without recharging - they lasted over 45 hours for me as well. I can agree with his assessment - I had the same findings. I have yet to recharge them because they were out of power before I was done with them. I have a headset holder that the headset hangs on at night. It also has RGB colors - so the stand matches this headset like they were made to be together. This headset is definitely 5 out of 5 stars. Title of the item I am reviewing.     • Decent gaming headphones. Love the bluetooth
Headphones are nice and comfortable to wear. The sound quality is mid, but at the price it is listed for, I would say it's decent quality. I love the wireless/bluetooth feature. You can get up and walk away for a second without having to take them off and reset.

These headphones surprised me at how good they are. The value for the money is so good I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone. They fit great and are adjustable so will work with most anyone’s head. You can feel they are quality and built well. I have another pair of $100 gaming headphones from RIG and these feel better made. The sound quality is wonderful and I have them paired with GG audio software from Steel Series so adjusting the equalizer to make them sound perfect is a breeze. I have been using these to game for the last week and they sound absolutely great and their performance is outstanding. The fact they are Bluetooth or 2.4gtz with the dongle is amazing. I love being able to use them with my PC, TV or best yet my cell phone when I game. I have even used them to have phone calls whilst connected to my phone. I love these way more than I thought I would. The mic is removable or you can shut the mic off by hitting one button on the headset. Having the RGB on them is awesome too. They have just the right amount of RGB to look awesome without being an overload of a ridiculous amount making them look weird. These are an easy 5 star and for the price I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again or recommend to friends and family. What a great headset and I love them way way more than I thought I would.     • Good value, bad EQ
In the $30-40 price range, these are a decent value... but the driver sound quality is only OK and the EQ is poorly tuned and detrimental to sound quality in most situations. Really, it's quite disappointing they messed up the EQ tuning so badly, well tuned these could sound so much better. What I like: - Love that you can plug them in with the included ~4ft 1/8" (aka 3.5mm) headphone wire. When used wired, it appears to be direct drive so you should be able to use the headphones this way when the battery is dead and the volume knob still works - but no RGB or onboard EQ (which isn't a bad thing IMO). - Noise cancelation from the mic does an excellent job rejecting white noise (fans, etc.) and works just as well in wired and wireless modes. - Very low latency wireless sound (with the dongle)! After a short usage session I couldn't tell a difference between wired and wireless audio latency. So much better than bluetooth for gaming or other PC use. - Volume knob works in all 3 modes (wired, wireless with dongle, bluetooth) - volume knob is independent of device settings. - Like that you can toggle the RGB on and off. - Like that you can also pair them via bluetooth. - Band across the head is soft and comfortable for long ware. - Earcups are super soft and even with my thick arm glasses I can ware these for a couple of hours before the pressure starts to bother me. Thin/flexible arm glasses might get me another hour or two but I don't think I could ware these all day with any kind glasses. What I'm not in love with: - There's no high-pass filter to block bass below the speakers response range which muddles sound when there are frequencies below about 34Hz present. - Audio is "airy". The speakers are not high quality flat response drivers... not that I'd expect it at this price point but their response is a bit all over the place. They seem to struggle to be able to mix some frequency combinations, it's not terrible but far from the best music listening experience. The louder you go the worse it gets - medium high frequencies have too much gain IMO. - When used in the "powered" (non-wired) mode you get extra drive power giving you a little punchier bass and sharper frequency response but the badly tuned EQ wipes out any gains IMO and you just get a different sound of mud (this is being a bit unfair - it's not that bad - my point is some things sound better wired and others sound better powered). What doesn't work: - Manal says "double press M button to check battery level" - does nothing ... show more
