  • Great connectivity, long lasting battery, dislike buttons
The Redpepper earbuds show up as S8 under bluetooth devices. They paired quickly and both buds worked. When I moved them to a different phone, one bud stopped working till I put them in the case and took them out again. They played music at max volume for 7 hours per charge from the case and the case and buds ran out of battery after 17 hours and 45 mins of music. The Bluetooth connection is amazing, never dropping and reaching 100 feet through floors without glitches. Lips in videos are in sync with the audio and music sounds fine to me. I'm no audiophile but bass seems a bit heavier than average. Buds are shaped nicely and remain comfortable in my ears for long periods. I find it hard to press the capacitive buttons reliably, but I have that problem with all buds capacitive buttons. Buttons allow volume up/down, prev/next track, pause/play, answer/hang up or ignore call as clearly described in the manual. Three presses is supposed to activate voice assist but do nothing on my phone, possibly because I have voice stuff disabled. Oddly, the buds are designed so you can't turn them off when they're paired to a device. When unpaired, you can press both buds for 5 seconds to turn off or you can tap them 4 times to power off AND reset them so they won't pair to previous devices. Unfortunately, the 4 taps don't work if they're already paired, so you can't force them to unpair from a different phone to pair them to your current one, which is really frustrating. I tested the bud case can be charged via USB-C at 5V on a PD or standard port. It charges both buds from empty to full in an hour and 17 minutes and provides just over 2 full charges of the buds without recharging the case. Empty buds in empty case took an hour and 43 minutes to finish charging the case. Overall, I love the solid Bluetooth connectivity, but I dislike the buttons and inability to unpair while connected. Four stars. ... show more

  • Good Quality without having to pay Name Brand prices
These earbuds work well and last for a decent amount of time. In my opinion the sound quality is pretty good, altho I do not consider myself especially picky, so if you're an audiophile, keep that in mind. Only minor complaint is that after 30-40 minutes and moving about the earbud tends to feel like it's about to fall out so I have to push it back where it's supposed to be. You also need to be careful when handling them as the sensor for the play/pause tap is pretty sensitive, so if you need to handle the earbuds at all while listening to music it will probably start/stop/skip whatever your listening too. Overall I think that they are a pretty good pair of earbuds for general use, or for a quick replacement if your more pricey earbuds die on you. ... show more

  • Some good some bad.
Depositors are the comfortable fit and fairly good sound. Negatives are in the microphone in the difficulty when speaking to others using your phone.

  • inexpensive wireless earbuds with impressive features for the price
Earbuds came quickly and I quickly charged them up and started using 'em. They come with a case that doubles as a storage and charging device. The earbuds stick into the charging device via a pretty decent magnetic field. As soon as you put the earbuds into the storage/charging unit, you can actually feel them pull into the charging port. The fit is excellent. Soundwise, these are on the higher side of decent. They have a good amount of bass, midrange and treble. It really just depends on your output device. Bass isn't as great as high-end earbuds costing $80 or more. But actually for $15 these earbuds kick butt and sound pretty good. The bass isn't overwhelming nor is the treble. Sound is actually good. You can hear the bass and the vocals sound clear. I am actually surprised by these earbuds especially at this price... The sound volume can be controlled by pressing down on the left or right side earbud. Press down on the right side, the volume goes up. Press down on the left side the volume goes down. The buttons are built into the outer skin of the earbuds and are quite sensitive. A momentary touch on the earbuds causes them to stop. Even after pressing down on the left or right button to turn up or down the volume, you may need to momentarily touch the button to get it to play again. Design is really good actually. You can just touch one of the earpods while in your ear and it will pause immediately. Touch it again and it will start playing again. For the price (around $15 at time of review) these are a great deal. Have no complaints and they really sound pretty good. Would purchase again if I needed to replace. ... show more

  • Decent value
Set up and fit are great. Sound quality is pretty good, though the receiver (mic) seems to fluctuate on quality. It stays connected and charging is simple. Battery life is long for such a cheap headset.

  • Perfect for noise canceling
The earbuds are easy to use and connect easily as well. The quality of the sound is really l good. Definitely are worth getting for the price. They stay in your ear and don't pop out.
