Wow! This is the best wireless charger I've purchased to date. As of installation time it does everything it said it would. I have purchased 5 different wireless chargers for my car. The first one worked for a couple years, then just died. The second one never worked as a wireless charger, which was ridiculous, so I gave it away to a family member that only wanted a mount and didn't care about the wireless features. The next one sometimes worked and sometimes didn't but it never stayed stuck to the windshield and dropped my phone constantly making it a hazard to driving (my dash is dimpled and sloped so that's never been a location I can mount and I don't believe in blocking my air flow with those mounts), so that one ended up in the Freecycle on FB. The most recent one that this one is replacing never worked as a wireless, no matter what I did, even taking the case off it just never worked (like the second one), but tired of trying to find the right one, I had given up and just used it, until it self-released my phone and broke the case! Ugh, another one that didn't charge wirelessly and then malfunctioned, the clamping arm just randomly broke and there was no fixing it. So, now I not only had to find a new mount, but also buy a replacement phone case (at lease the case did it's job and protected the phone). One super fantastic feature is the securing to the windshield. First, it has the normal suction, but the clamping system is so much stronger than the others I've had, it really locks it down. The adjustability of this is outstanding! All prior mounts had one adjustment, just the swivel and that's it, this one has enough different adjustments that I can actually use it the way I had wished I could for years! I love that this mount self-locks down on the phone, that's awesome, not something I would have thought of, but how cool, and it does a nice job too. The wireless feature works instantly and does a great job! I cannot review the quick charge yet, as I still have my original adapter, but plan to get the QC3.0 soon and will rate on that when I do. Overall this is a well designed and quality product and feels much more heavy-duty that prior products I've had. If this stands the test of time, I would definitely purchase again. Using this mount with an Android phone: Samsung Galaxy S22, so I can't really say how well it does with an iPhone. ... show more

Updated review: The seller contacted me and offered an improved replacement with a 2 year warranty. I wanted this to work last time so I accepted the upgrade. I've waited for 3 months to post this until I had tested it completely. I've taken it on 3 long all day road trips and use it for work 4 days a week making deliveries and doing estimates in my construction related business. It has worked great! I initially had an overheating problem and the charger would not shut down on the old version. In this new version it did. This was great news! It worked as advertised. My phone didn't need to shut down when it got hot. The charger did. I turned on A/C and opened windows and within 5 minutes it was up and charging again. The think the aluminum clamping arms dissipated the heat fast. It occurred while running Google Maps for more than an hour on warm 80 - 90 degree days here in Oregon because I don't turn on my A/C until it hit's 90's. I initially thought my DC adaptor was too strong but tried a lower wattage unit and the over heating problem and shutting down persisted. I then ran Maps in the Dark Mode and the problem went away. I surmised my Google Pixel 6A Pro was draining the battery too fast and required constant charging to keep up, which overheated it. An update to Maps has also helped reduce the power consumption although dark mode is really the solution. I can charge off and on for 5-6 hours with maps running and I still have around 75-85% battery left by the end of the day. I'm glad I gave them another chance because this mount has higher quality made arms and motor gears than other brands I've tried. The new customer service representative emailed and responded to me multiple times after receiving the replacement to check on it's status. I would and have recommended this charger. Old review: Stopped working 11 days out of warranty and there is no way to reach the seller. Beware of products with a short warranty period. I wanted to love this product because it was made with aluminum arms and had a stronger mount. I have tried 4 other brands and they all broke within 6 months. This cost more but just lasted 3 months. Pros: the arms opened far enough to grab my Pixel 6 pro and charged through an Otter box defender case. Made with aluminum arms and had a stronger mount. Cons: The issues it had were in the charging elements. It was supposed to have an over heat shut off sensor that never worked. Before I bought it I messaged the seller and they assured me it would shut off when hot. It caused my phone to over heat and luckily my phone would shut itself off. I hope it didn't damage the battery. I read the manufactures description and it said: "When your phone is fully charged, the wireless car phone charger will automatically power off and protect the battery of your phone" It never did. That's what happened the day it finally stopped working. I was running Google maps for about an hour on a road trip. When my phone notified me that it was too hot and shutting down I tried to remove my phone so it could cool off but the charger arms would not open and it never worked since. There doesn't seem to be any way to reset it ether. In the detailed description of the holder where they suggest what to do if it's not charging your phone, it says "Preventing your phone from overheating: We suggest you close Apps to reduce power consumption and turn off phone screen during wireless charging." My question is how do you use a map if you're supposed to close all aps and turn off the screen? My other holders worked fine with Google maps running. The arms just broke and stopped opening because of the wide phone. I'm hoping the seller will see this post and contact me. I really liked it and would like a replacement. Because I'm thinking that maybe I just got a faulty one. ... show more

Edit: Wireless charges my Google Pixel 6 Pro intermittently because of the coil location. I just added 2 adhesive felt strips on the bottom arm to lift the phone up, and boom, perfect. It ended up solving the high pitched squeeling noise too. Pros: The best part is the clamp system. It automatically closes the clamps when it senses the phone has been placed on it. The motors activate for 2 seconds, then keep the phone in place tightly. When you want to take it off, the electronic button on either side automatically releases the clamp. Easy easy easy. The suction cup is a little sticky, and strong. Works super good on flat surfaces. Curved surfaces start to diminish its abilities. The top and bottom of my dash was too curved for this, so I put it on the back of my center display (2023 Tesla Model Y). Doesn't vibrate, very sturdy. Cons: The cable is a tad short, but I mounted mine closer to the center console on the dash, so it was fine for me. Maybe not fine if you mounted on the far side and the closest USB is further away (glovebox or near arm rest), especially if you want to hide the cable under the trim. I do wish there was a way to tighten the ball joint mount, cause I can still move it. I would feel better if I didn't have to adjust it if I bumped it accidentally. Though, it does stay in place, even during bumps. (Solved. See edit at the beginning) I do sometimes hear a high-pitched noise after clamping the phone and the motors have stopped. Some older people probably won't hear it. Goes away after 5 seconds. Not the same noise as the motors clamping into place. I hear the motors activate for 2 seconds, then 1 second of silence, then this high-pitched noise. ... show more
