This winter hat is warm. Hella warm. While wearing it, it feels like the soft fuzzy material is gently caressing your scalp and cheeks. I chopped firewood in -15f weather while wearing this, and I sweat more than I have ever sweat in my life. The only negative I have about this hat, is that it is not symmetrical. At least, the product I received was not symmetrical. It appears to be lopsided no matter how you wear it. It is hardly noticeable but worth pointing out in case you are wearing this for fashion. But it'll keep the head heat from escaping out too much. Seems even more warmer when you pin the ear flaps back on top of the cap. I guess because of more added thickness on top. With flaps down and face mask on, it seems to warm up faster, probably because some of your breath heat is constantly working its way up inside the cap. My head size is 23 so it fits about right.. not too tight, not too loose. I gave it 4 stars because it's a little troublesome to seek out where the face mask snaps are and spend too much time with them. I would have had it with Velcro attachment.

Good hat, the fabric quality is not bad, the fleece inside that goes on the top of the head is not the softest but not too rough for the price is not bad, it is soft on the side of the ears and warm, the head size is perfect, the neck buckle is perfect size, mask snaps are strong to keep it in place. The only one bad thing is the hat I received is damaged the stitching is coming off. I will need to return it. Besides the sewing thing the hat is a good buy.

I bought two of these for my husband and I to hunt with. I hope they are up to par. So far the material feels a little cheep and thin very light. I did like that it came with an extra mask. I wasn't expecting that. The ear loop on one of the masks already came off so I'll have to reinforce that. I don't particularly care for the snaps they aren't of the best quality. Overall it's not that bad of a hat for the price.
