Edit: 12.6.2025 Please know to buy your correct size! I returned the XL and now have LG in both the light color and the Navy. They are both great. I still have enough room with sweaters underneath. The only negative, the zipper for the hood, it doesn't always stay zipped tight. Great deals! This is only the second time I've actually ordered a coat or jacket online, I find the process of looking for clothing in stores tedious these days. This jacket was such a find! You're not going to get better quality at the price range that I paid which, was in the mid 40's. I ordered this in the navy blue, it did come vacuum packed and I decided to lightly iron it which, you can do. I ordered it one size larger than I normally like to wear, so I ordered it in the extra large and that was purely for the fact that I like to put heavy sweaters and sometimes thicker pants when it's cold out. I absolutely could have ordered my size large which would have made it a little bit more form-fitting but, it's for the late fall and winter so I didn't want to do that. I am showing you pictures of how it looks when I pull it toward me and when I expand it to give you an idea. I am 5'2 and approximately 156 lbs. The length is slightly longer than I'm used to but I did try it yesterday in the blistery wind, and I felt nothing streaming through. The hood is detachable I did brush out the faux fur, when you snap the hood around under your chin it stays in place very comfortably even, with a hat on. My only complaint is that the zipper that attaches the entire hood to the jacket opens up a little bit. They should have made it so that when you zipped the hood completely closed it should snap into place. I'm so pleased with it that I actually ordered another for myself and for a gift. I'm not sure if I'll like it in the lighter color but we'll see. I received the lighter color, and the large fits a little bit more to my frame but, still leaves enough room for a thick sweater. I decided to keep the large in the cream and keep the extra large in the Navy. I wanted one that was just a little bit more formed to my body. Pictures of botharee attached. If you are in the market for a warm semi lightweight winter coat, do not pass up this opportunity. Lastly, I will say that you can wash this in cold water I would suggest, hanging it to dry or lying it flat do not put it in the dryer. There was another reviewer who said they could not find the care instructions you just have to read thoroughly the information before you get rid of any tags. This coat came compressed and was very wrinkled. I took it to the local cleaners and had them try to remove the wrinkles. They did not guarantee that they could because compressed items are so deeply wrinkled they usually cannot. They steamed and cleaned the coat and it turned out quite well except there are still a few wrinkles so I decided that I would keep it since they don't look too bad.
