I got these because I’m learning to tattoo and TheBrokenPuppet on YT uses these for his flash art. I do have a set of Copics and set of Ohuhu, but for me the amount of colors is overwhelming and frankly some of the colors look very similar to one another. I tried these tonight and they are great. What I like about them is they are less vibrant than Ohuhu and Copics, meaning they are better for blending and shading for tattoo type art. I also noticed with the grays specifically that they do go from very faint to bold, which is so great for traditional tattoo art. Lastly someone mentioned the warm set and cool set are the same - They aren’t, you can see in my swatches there is definitely a difference between the cool and warm tones. Windsor Newton is one of the premier firms when it comes to pigments of just about any kind. I've used their watercolor paints for years. Their markers seem to be just as good. Yes you'll pay a little more up front, but they should last quite some time if well cared for. Consider them an investment, they will more than pay for themselves in the long run. After months of research, I decided to go with both pro & brush markers and I couldn’t have been happier. They are very smooth and easy to work with as stated in previous reviews. I will be expanding my collection, but this is what I am starting with as a test trial. I would recommend that once you receive your markers swatch them as soon as possible just to make sure that you didn’t get a defective batch, which can’t happen sometimes.
