Quick sidenote: How I want this to be called the FlexStyler like everyone else! It’s just like the Instant Pot where everyone removes that T in the middle when pronouncing it. This is my first and only Shark FlexStyle unit and I am so excited to finally own it. I’ve had a number of units that are similar but really don’t even come close to comparing and now that I know, I can confidently recommend Shark over all of those overseas ones that claim to be just as good. This unit claims to be specifically for all hair types which is awesome because I have many hair types on my own head. Really, the color doesn’t matter to me as much as the functionality. But I do appreciate the glacial blue and I also appreciate that the limited edition blue color doesn’t affect the value compared to the colors that aren’t limited edition colors. Hopefully the even price remains the same (or gets even better, as it has already dropped once since my order) for as long as the limited edition is available. This collection includes the blue wand/dryer, the left and right 1.25” air curlers, the oval/oblong brush, the styling concentrator (we used to call this something different decades ago and now I can’t remember what we called it, but we used it to blow the hair in the rollers dry), what they call the FrizzFighter finishing tool, and large black neoprene storage bag. All tools have a cool tip at the end so you can remove it without burning your fingers and you don’t need to wear a styling glove. Everything has a learning curve (with the exception of the dryer itself) so expect to use the manual, the QR codes, and then the best is watching YouTube videos from both the Shark channel as well as people who have used these tools at length. Then start practicing. I think all of the tools work better if I have damp hair vs. just out of the shower wet hair. The curlers are super easy to use once you understand how much hair to use and once you realize you must let the curlers do the work. I think the curlers had the shortest learning curve and were pretty easy to use almost immediately. The curls are fabulous! And they last much longer if I do the cool shot at the end like they recommend. The oval brush makes superb volume. The only disappointment with this tool is that the plastic bristles don’t have the little round tips on the ends so they are all sharp. You know what it’s like when you lose enough of those tips on your hair brush and you have to replace it because you keep scraping yourself? All of the bristles are like that. I read through every other review posted here at this time and I was surprised no one else mentioned this. I’ve included photos. I may have to solve this problem myself with teeny tiny tips. The FrizzFighter is neat. They recommend you use a heat protectant spray first. Watch the video from Shark! This is such a cool tool. You can control the flyaways and straighten your hair. There is also a scalp shield setting. It works really well. Definitely a must in the dry winters! The hair dryer itself is amazing too. I wasn’t sure about the concentrator but turns out I love the airflow when I use it. I also love the position of the air intake. I never get my hair stuck in it like I do with traditional hair dryers. It’s far enough down the handle that I don’t end up covering it either. It’s just a really well designed hair dryer and multi tool. It’s better than anything I’ve ever owned. The neoprene storage bag is nice because if the pieces are warm they won’t touch anything else. There is a simple cloth divider in the middle so the attachments all go on one side and the dryer and connected cord go on the other. I’m excited to take this on our next vacation!

I have short hair and the brush is huge. I thought it was the paddle brush as shown in the Amazon ad and on the box. It only comes with four attachments, none of which were of use to me. I returned it. It took much longer to blow dry my hair.

I cannot say enough good things about this Shark FlexStyle! This is seriously one of those hair tools that EVERYONE needs in their collection! I absolutely LOVE how versatile it is and how many different things you can do with just ONE tool. Whether you want to dry, straighten, smooth, curl, add volume, create a beautiful blowout, or tame frizz and flyaways, this does it all! Instead of having a drawer full of different styling tools, you have practically everything you need in one convenient system. I especially love that it is designed for ALL hair types, including straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair. It is incredibly versatile and makes creating different hairstyles so much easier! One of my absolute favorite features is the interchangeable attachments! You get two 1.25 inch auto wrap curlers, an oval brush, a styling concentrator, and a FrizzFighter finishing tool. Each attachment serves a different purpose, so you have endless styling possibilities. The auto wrap curlers are especially impressive because they use Coanda technology to automatically attract and wrap your hair around the barrel using airflow. This makes creating gorgeous curls and waves so much more convenient than using a traditional curling iron. The oval brush is perfect for creating those beautiful, smooth, bouncy blowouts with added volume, while the styling concentrator gives you more control when drying and styling specific sections. I had long given up on hair styling and dryers for my hair as the high heat really fried my hair. Enter the Shark FlexStyle and I can finally give hair tools a try again. This was a very impressive all in one option for me. For one, I don’t like clutter and having a 2 in 1 option is a great thing, especially if you don’t have a lot of space in your bathroom. The option to use this both as a hair dryer and multi-tool via attachments is simply amazing. The attachments are all pretty self explanatory on how to attach and remove and use. In case, there is a handy booklet and quick guide that you can reference too. Love love love the included storage case that felt a bit like neoprene but was definitely sturdy and not some thin cloth one like at a hotel. While I am definitely a function over fashion person, I have to say that this limited edition color is beautiful and I am not even that big a fan of blue…but this glacial blue is such a pretty color to look at. It is a light blue but looks like silver at the same time…the name is spot on. Love how intuitive the heat and air settings are, along with converting it between a hair dryer to hair tool. The only attachment I had to have a couple goes at was the auto-wrap curlers. I appreciate the left and right curlers and that they are clearly labeled. I actually tested these at various heat settings as well to see if this would work on a lower heat setting and surprisingly at the lowest heat level these still produced a decent curl for me, apply some product and you would have curls at a lower heat output. I just needed to test out the auto-curl function but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty easy and I love how there is little chance of really getting your hair all knotted up or burning your fingers on the curler itself. The oval brush is my next favorite as it does a great job of adding volume to hair without needing a lot of heat. I tested all the attachments at low heat, as that is what I would most likely use these tools at and was pleasantly surprised that they all produced good results. Now, if it was just a smidge less loud, but I am sensitive to volume, I would call this perfect.

Hair tools have a way of multiplying when nobody is looking. A dryer turns into a round brush, which turns into a curling iron, which somehow turns into three attachments and a drawer that no longer closes properly. That’s what I like about the Shark FlexStyle. It handles drying, smoothing, curling, and adding volume from one base unit, so I can get through most of a styling routine without reaching for a different tool every ten minutes. The first thing that makes it work is that it’s actually a capable hair dryer, not just a styling tool that happens to blow warm air. It moves a surprising amount of air for something this compact and gets hair dry quickly without needing to rely on extremely high heat. Shark markets the system around minimizing heat damage, and I think that’s the more realistic way to look at it. No heated styling tool makes hair magically immune to damage, but regulating the temperature and doing more of the work with airflow feels much gentler than repeatedly clamping sections between hot plates. The curling attachments are probably the most fun part. Instead of manually wrapping hair around a traditional iron and trying not to burn a finger in the process, the airflow helps pull the section around the barrel for you. There’s still a little technique involved with section size and positioning, so I wouldn’t expect perfect curls five minutes after opening the box, but once I got the hang of it the process felt much less awkward. The result is more of a soft, bouncy curl or wave than that overly rigid “I spent forty minutes with a curling iron” look, which I actually prefer. The brush and smoothing options are what make me use it for more ordinary days too. I can add some volume while drying, smooth things out without immediately reaching for a flat iron, or just use it as a regular dryer when I don’t feel like doing anything elaborate. That’s important because a $350 styling tool would be much harder to justify if it only came out for special occasions. I also like how quickly the system changes between those roles. The body rotates from a traditional dryer shape into the styling position, and swapping attachments doesn’t feel like assembling a small appliance every time. The handle is comfortable, the unit isn’t overly heavy, and the controls are easy enough to reach while I’m actually using it rather than after I’ve already set it down. The Glacial Blue finish looks especially good. It gives the FlexStyle a little personality without going full toy-box bright, and the matching storage case is something I appreciate more than I expected. Multi-stylers are great until all the attachments start migrating into different drawers, so having one proper place for the tool and its accessories keeps the setup much more manageable. It also makes the whole package feel more appropriate for the price. Build quality feels solid throughout. The attachments lock in securely, the rotating mechanism doesn’t feel loose or flimsy, and the finish has the polished feel I’d expect from one of Shark’s more expensive personal-care products. There’s still plenty of plastic here, as there is with most air stylers, but it doesn’t have that hollow or creaky feel that makes me nervous about repeatedly swapping attachments. At $349.99, this is obviously a premium hair tool. If all I needed was a basic dryer, I could spend dramatically less and be perfectly happy. The price starts making more sense if I’d otherwise own separate tools for drying, smoothing, curling, and volumizing, especially since those individual tools also have to live somewhere when I’m not using them. That’s really where the FlexStyle works for me. It gives me enough versatility to simplify the whole routine without making me feel like I traded away actual styling performance just to save space. I can dry my hair quickly, change the look depending on the day, and then put everything back into one case instead of returning four different tools to four different corners of the bathroom. The Glacial Blue version also happens to look good doing it, which doesn’t hurt.

I'm really impressed with the Shark FlexStyle. I like having so many styling options in one device, and the attachments are quick and easy to change. This is the Glacial Blue limited-edition set, and it comes with the Frizz Fighter Finishing Tool, Oval Brush, Concentrator, and two 1.25" Auto-Wrap Curlers. It’s designed to work with straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair, although I’m obviously speaking from my own experience with my hair. The thing that really sold me on this, though, is how fast it dries my hair. My hair used to take me nearly an hour to dry, and with the FlexStyle I can get it dry in about 10 minutes. That is a ridiculous difference in my morning routine. I also expected my hair to feel more dried out after using something that gets it dry that quickly, but it doesn’t. My hair still feels soft afterward and doesn’t have that overheated, dried-out feeling I’ve gotten from other styling tools. I’ve also been really happy with how my hair looks. It’s smoother, shinier, and noticeably less frizzy, and I can get a much more finished look than I normally manage on my own. I wouldn’t say I’ve mastered the styling attachments yet, especially the curling ones. There’s definitely a learning curve there. The FlexStyle itself is easy to use, but getting the technique right for each attachment takes some practice, and I’m still figuring out what works best for my hair. The Glacial Blue is also a nice change from the usual black or neutral styling tools. It’s a pretty color and actually looks nice sitting out, which is a small thing, but I appreciate not having something ugly sitting on my bathroom counter. For me, the biggest advantage is still the drying time. Going from nearly an hour to around 10 minutes is a huge improvement, and getting smoother, shinier hair at the same time makes it even better. I’m still learning what I can do with all of the attachments, but I’m already very happy with it.

I have a sister who has been a hair stylist for 20+ years, so I’ve used just about every type of styling tool out there, so I was especially interested to see how the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl performed. From a technology and engineering standpoint, this tool is seriously impressive. You can tell a lot of thought and science went into the design, and the overall quality absolutely feels premium. First, the color is spectacular! It’s one of those tools that looks just as good sitting on the counter as it does in your hand. Switching between attachments is incredibly easy and intuitive, and I was impressed with how well it performed for drying and straightening. The brush attachment did a great job smoothing the hair while drying, and the results were quick, polished, and easy to achieve. Where it lost a star was with the curling barrels. While they’re very easy to use and the airflow technology is fascinating, I found that the airflow actually created more frizz than I would expect from a high-end styling tool. The curls also didn’t have the lasting power or overall sleek, finished appearance I was hoping for. My sister was less than impressed, as that smoothness and longevity are a big part of what she looks for in a curling tool. (Works well for a bouncy blowout look with relaxed movement, just don't plan on the curls being actual curls for the day.) Overall, though, this is a very well-made, high-quality styling system with some genuinely impressive technology behind it. It excels at drying, smoothing, and straightening, and the ease of changing attachments makes it extremely user-friendly. I got the Shark FlexStyle 4-in-1 Air Styling & Drying System in Glacial Blue and I have to say, I LOVE this Shark! It’s not just super pretty to look at — it actually performs. I really like that it comes with a storage case because with all the attachments, having somewhere to keep everything together makes a huge difference. This thing is POWERFUL. I was honestly impressed with how much air it puts out for something that isn’t this huge, bulky hair dryer. You can dry your hair, smooth it, add volume, or style it without needing a whole collection of separate tools. That’s what I love about the FlexStyle — you’re getting so much in one system. And because I love using a diffuser, I wanted to make sure I could use one with my Shark. I actually found a large curl-defining diffuser that fits the Shark FlexStyle perfectly, so now I feel like my hair has everything it needs. That diffuser has a large deep bowl and adjustable prongs, and it opens on the inside and closes back down, which is a feature I wasn’t used to and really like. The more I use this, the more I understand why people love the Shark FlexStyle. It gives you the versatility of having multiple styling tools without having your bathroom counter completely covered with them. I also appreciate that Shark designed this to regulate the heat instead of just blasting your hair with extremely high temperatures. I still use normal heat-protection precautions because, let's be honest, I’m not trying to damage my hair, but I like knowing the FlexStyle is designed with heat exposure in mind.
