The holes that the pins pivot on in the cabinet, have little plastic inserts, the bottom two were there, but the top 2 inserts were missing. Called customer service, and they processed my request for the insertd to be sent to me, so I can install them. I love the color and quality of this entertainment stand. It was relatively easy to put together. Others might struggle. I suggest you pay attention to the direction the stand is facing and make sure the parts with the grooves to slide the back panels into place are all lined up correctly as each part is assembled. The grooves are difficult to see in the instructions. Some comments mention the sticker being hard to remove. During assembly, slide that sticker panel in backwards/facing towards the wall. I included a picture of the back of the unit with the sticker. I put this together myself with no help from my husband in about 45 mins. I did also assemble the matching end tables so I had already gotten in some practice. I sailed through the assembly process up until the end with putting the doors on the hinges. I then had to literally use a hammer and chisel to take a couple millimeters off the bottom edges of the doors so they could slide onto the bottom hinges of the unit. I forgot to take a pic of that before I put them on. Like others, I don't like that the knobs are slightly crooked, but it's no big deal. I could always take one knob off and glue it exactly where I want it. I hope this review is helpful for others. ... show more

One shelf was broken in 2 places and the top scratched. It was too large to return for a replacement, so I now need to wait 7-14 business days for the Winsome Wood to send a replacement shelf.

A very nice and pretty tv stand!! My first one was damaged but was sent a new one that worked. Tip: don’t tighten all the bolts until the doors are in. I had issues with this at first.

I am so glad I purchased media center, it's beautiful. The price fit our budget and it was easy to install. It is not cheap looking or flimsy. It's sturdy and looks like I paid a lot of money for it. It did have a chemical smell but I aired it outside and it's fine now. I love the color and design. The cupboard underneath is very roomy, I can fit lots of stuff in it. ... show more

I used this just to hold my various TV devices (Roku, Blue-Ray Player, Cable Box, etc.). It really is never going to hold any real weight, but it is a solid unit. The color is good, the wood seems to be fairly solid, and overall a good little unit. The only issue I had was with installing the doors. I was able to make them fit, but getting the doors to fit with the upper and lower pins was definitely a tight squeeze, and honestly, not the best design based on the very tight clearances required to install. Honestly, the instructions should have you install the doors prior to screwing in the middle and bottom sections to the side pieces, that would have allowed for a much more simple install on the doors and would not have been any harder to put the piece together. When I was all done, the doors didn't line up perfectly of course, but I was able to just put a little bit of down force on the higher of the two and it lined up just fine after that. The only other little item was that some of the wood edges did seem to get scratched in shipping rubbing off the finish, but I have a pack of the furniture pens that was able to solve that issue quickly. For the price, this was by far the best option for me, and the only reason I give it 4 stars is the minor items I mention. I would recommend this product, with the listed caveats. ... show more

It's really hard to find a nice TV stand at an affordable price, so I was thrilled when I found this one. It's great looking from far away, but if you're a perfectionist who expects brand new items to be flawless and does not want to communicate back and forth with customer service, this is not the TV stand for you. Although my item was carefully packed, the 2 sides either had scratches/dents or faded paint on them, and the left door does not fit when I screw in the nails where the holes are pre-drilled. I filled out the replacement form and emailed it with my receipt, and was promptly sent replacement parts, which also were carefully prepacked. However, I did not receive a replacement left door even though I requested it and received 2 of the same side (instead of 1 of each side). The replacement sides either had faded paint or another dent, but luckily, they were for the same side that I had a dent on in the first shipment. Instead of contacting customer service again, I gave up. I decided to leave my left door as is and will drill new holes once I find my drill, and replaced only one side of my TV stand. Both sides just have faded paint instead of dents/scratches, so I'll just find matching paint somewhere and repaint it. If this item were not on sale, I would just return it. ... show more
