Assembly was fairly easy for my husband who put it together in <30 minutes while watching a soccer game. Very sturdy for a lightweight device. Personally, as a walker it function very well. And as a walker, it gives you a nice stop and rest seat before you move on. In house as a wheelchair it’s just ok, if rear wheels could swivel, maneuvering turns would be easier. Our floors are tile and wood, carpet would be a problem. Not quite sure how this would work as a wheelchair outside of home setting, rough sidewalks, cobblestones, grass, etc - wouldn’t even attempt it. Smooth floors should not be a problem. Hand brakes are excellent when engaged and give support when you go to sit Reviewers who posted videos were a great help with assembly, although directions provided were fairly easy to follow 2 final thoughts…this is not a device that you would sit in comfortably for hours…and, I took a risk and bought this as an open box at a substantial savings. Let me start by saying I cannot say enough good about this product! My best friend was recently diagnosed with cancer. It's terminal and she's declining quickly. I needed something that could transition from a walker to a wheelchair and I didn't know of anything like that was available. That is until I found this. I have to admit, I wasn't terribly optimistic when I first bought it. I thought it would be bulky and hard to maneuver. However, I was pleasantly surprised! First, it's comfortable to sit in! My friend weighs approximately 160 lb and is so easy to push in that chair! It handles ramps and bumps quite easily! It's lightweight and simple to get in and out of the car. It was super easy to assemble. It folds very easy and light enough for my wife to load into car, although found removing the feet is best for in the car so it doesn't snag the carpeting. As for maneuverability, as a walker works very well, a bit cumbersome as transport wheelchair but since that is only used when needed it works okay. Also, not the most comfortable as wheelchair due to the back strap, would be better if that could be adjustable. All and all, it is cost effective for the flexibility it provides and meets our needs. ... show more

This walker/transport chair works wonderfully! The only thing it needs to work better is to have larger wheels to make it easier to get over small bumps like door thresholds. Other than that, I love it and use it as my daily walker.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this rollator chair. The box came in good condition, was well packaged and was a relatively easy assembly. Unfortunately, the last item to add to the chair after assembly was the attachable tote bag. And no tote bag was included in the box, leaving a shortened seat space and two hard plastic empty pegs right next to the thighs of the patient rider. Amazon insists on a return for missing parts but I needed this chair to take my 78 year old husband to the doctor the next day so I was not going to take it apart and repack it just to ship it back for another entire chair. Surely, if the manufacturer knew of this inadvertent omission, they would ship just the cloth bag to complete the order. I would happily edit and change this review to a higher rating if that were possible. ... show more

Update*** Finally got to use the walker/chair outdoors. Took my mom to her dr appt and the back rest is not comfortable. My mom was straining the whole time trying to keep herself sit straight up. She was leaning more towards the back like a recliner than sitting up. Safety issue... my mom does not walk. The chair will not go over a slightly raise floor panel. As I was pushing my mom to her dr appt, my mom was literally thrown out of her seat all because the chair didn't go over the entrance floor panel. She hurt herself. There were people around who helped me get her off the floor and back into the chair. I DONT CARE FOR THIS WALKER/ CHAIR FOR THESE REASONS. I purchased this for my mom as a smaller transportation w/c rather than hauling a big wheelchair around when we are out in public. I have had it for a few days now, so I don't know how good it will hold up outside. The assembly was simple. It took about 10 minutes to put it together. No tools needed. I sat in it to test its durability and I must say I'm impress. The seat cushion is not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. I did purchase an additional seat pad for my mom just incase she starts to feel uncomfortable for sitting too long. The wheels rolls smoothly on a flat surface. The only thing I can say to be careful if you want to sit down, as the chair may roll from underneath you. Don't recall if you can lock the wheels other than using the handles.
