I tried a few different wine fridges but most had very noisy compressors, or even the thermoelectric ones made buzzing noises. This is the quietest I’ve seen in the price range. With a little acoustic foam on the wall behind it, it completely fades into the background. The racks are also quite nice and don’t have trouble fitting california reds and pinot bottles like many fridges designed for bordeaux bottles. The area for standing bottles is a nice touch as well when bottles have been opened. The lights are rather weak so don’t expect it to illuminate your collection very well. ... show more

I purchased this wine cooler because of the better compressor technology and the better warranty. The other great feature is the stand-up bottle compartment - no more jamming a bottle into our refrigerator. We are very happy with our wine fridge - it is just as we expected. Came quickly and well packed, too. As others said, not sure how 24 bottles fit but I was aware of this when we ordered it so was not disappointed. I do like the ability to have some upright bottles.

    • Does NOT fit wine bottles without ripping the bottle labels
We bought this fridge in anticipation of using it after a wine tour. Once home, we attempted to place bottles in the fridge which we challenging to put in each tray. The sleeves appeared to close together to fit the bottles. The worse part was when we removed a bottle, it tore the label which was VERY disappointing. A wine fridge should fit wine bottles without damaging the bottle. Lastly, the company did not want to pay return shipping for a defective item after I was told they would. Thankfully Amazon was able to assist us but this item should be recalled rather than sold. ... show more

    • Disappointing - noisy
After reading some reviews I was hopeful that this would be a great wine cooler- loved the stand up feature. Unfortunately I think it tries to keep the wine at a very specific temperature so the unit cycles on and off every 3-5 minutes which didn’t work for us.
