After lots of videos and researching reviews here I decided with this black privacy screen. I was working on this alone so I had to formulate a plan in steps. So, first I trimmed the hedges along the fence. Second, I had to cut all branches pushing through the fence. This was the most arduous part of the project! I needed a cordless saw, a branch cutter and a good set of gloves and persistence . I had to make sure that the hedges could be pushed away from the fence to allow the screen to slip between the two. Then, I had to start on one end and work along the top edge all the way to the other end of the fence. It is important to pull tight as you install and secure to the fence so it doesn't sag. Then, I went back to the beginning and repeated the process for the lower edge of the screen. There was about 3 feet extra at one end that I folded in on itself to not have to cut it which might create fraying in the future. After this, I decided to trim the hedges at the bottom where the screen doesn't conceal. I did this to prevent any leaves or branches from growing back through. I then cleaned out all the leaves that accumulated under the hedges after several years. This also aids in wind circulation along the bottom. Finally, I noticed that in the daylight one screen is not enough for acceptable privacy. So, I installed a green screen on the inside of the fence also. This was a lot easier to do since nothing was in the way! Overall, I think it came out pretty good. It took me about a week to complete as I did it mostly after work consecutively about 2 hours each day. Note: You may need a lot more tie wraps than you think. I used about 250 tie wraps. So, just order about 300 6-inch tie wraps. Final comment. Cleanup after trimming was the most back breaking part of the whole project and sweating profusely here in Miami! So, maybe get a few people to come over for some BBQ and beers in exchange for their help! Now moving on to those wooden fence boards! ... I'll let you know how that goes in the near future.     • I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a quick, fairly priced, and easy way to gain privacy.

I ordered these to block the view of our rear neighbors yard (which is a tad weed ridden and messy looking), and they more than deliver the privacy and look we were looking for. So much so, I ordered some for the rest of our fencing! They are comprised of a pretty dense weave, so you can barely see through them, which I also love! These Windscreens are quick and easy to install (just know you need to order your own zip ties--as they don't come with). I would go with the 10" heavy duty zip ties, as they're much easier to manipulate when you're dealing with long fence lines like ours. I originally ordered the 8", which worked fine, but became more challenging when working along the bottom of the fence line. The material is durable, yet wind friendly, with trimmed edges that provide more durability on really windy days. I purchased this product to add privacy to an ornamental aluminum fence. I used the 4’ fence to add privacy to the center section and feel like it looks good. The sheerness is perfect and provides the right amount of privacy. The items goes up easy with the provided zip ties and there are plenty of grommets to secure it. I would like to have the grommets in black so they blend with the canvas better and dont stand out so much. Also, I don’t understand why every size other than 50’ is so expensive, but we bought the end fabric and extra grommets from Michael’s and cut/sewed the ends where it was to long.     • Solved a problem for me...very happy!!!

I was looking for some way to keep neighbor's children's fingers from poking through my chain link fence. One of my dogs looks at that as a threat and I feared one of them getting nipped. Then I found this. What a great solution and far cheaper than a new privacy fence. You'll need to purchase cable ties. It has grommets on top and bottom and attached to your existing fence with the cable ties. Be sure to measure your fence so you order the right size. It's pretty easy to install but I had a little help from my son. It worked best to attach the top and bottom of one end then go along and attach all the top. Then come back and attach the rest of the bottom. I have found that it has served more purpose than just keeping little fingers out of my dogs yard. It gets real windy here and things fly about and usually find their way into my yard. Not so much since I put this up. It also keeps snow from my neighbors blowing and drifting in.     • Fat Beagle anti-yodeling prevention mechanism

We purchased, like many other users, for a dog problem. My fat beagle, Al, likes to yodel at 11pm at the neighbors dog. Not my neighbors immediately to my right, but the house two doors over. If I was trying to block a dog that shared a fence line this would NOT be a sufficient solution. But since house is further away it does seem to help. During the days it obscures his view some, but at night coupled with the darkness we have noticed an overall decrease in barking because Al can’t see the other dog as easily. He can still smell, sense and feel him through the Force. Does it cure the problem? No. Does it help some? Yes. Is it worth the $$. Maybe. I would install it again, I also like the aesthetics. I also like that it LOOKS like we are trying to curb our dog’s nighttime ranting so if our neighbors ever complain it is evident that we’ve attempted a remedy, ... show more

It was easy to install (on a wooden picket fence) however getting it tight on a picket fence is hard. For now it is fine. I am going to look into getting some stakes (say 20 @ approx. 5 ft ea). Then mount the screen to the stakes. Then take the screen/stake setup outside and drive them into the ground. I think this will make it easy to get a very tight hold. Also it will be easier to mount the screen to them. The screen is really made for a chain link fence and I believe it would go tight onto one very easily. ... show more
