The fan has a remote, and has 3 speeds. You can turn on the water or leave it off. There is a manually moveable air director for up and down and there is a remotely operated side to side where it moves vanes, not the whole body. The body is on wheels and is pretty light even when full of water. The remote has a battery inside it and you need to remove the plastic guard to make it work. Installation/setup: Fill the reservoir with water and use the remote or the buttons on the top of the body to select the functions you wish. Final thoughts: The fan works well, and it’s not very loud. It puts out a lot of air even on low and adds a lot of humidity. This type of cooler works well at lower temps but not so well when it’s over 100 degrees F. The reservoir needs to be kept full of water. You can hear the water trickling at times but most of the time it’s not very noticeable. The water soaks a filter that needs to be cleaned occasionally but it’s easy to access. I use filtered water in mine as we have hard water and I suggest you do the same, or use distilled water. I like this and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

My son has this in his bedroom and he loves it. He sleeps upstairs in the warmest room of the house. This cooler takes care of the cooling comfort for him nightly. The fan pushes air with good pressure, strong enough feel and feel better. The oscillating vent is his favorite functional option. It nicely fans the room with cool air. The water container is ample for a couple nights of cooling. The freezer packs that cool the water are a convenient cooling boost They are a little smaller than what we use in a lunch box, but they work well for this. We also use our older and slightly larger ice packs while freezing the ones that it came with. Cleaning the water container is easy. Remove the 2 screws that hold the pump, it pops right out, and the water tank pulls right out. A quick wash and back in it goes for the next night. My son is an advocate for a more eco friendly form of cooling like this, so we heartly recommend it to all.

I got this evaporative cooling fan because the window air conditioner in my office is inconsistent, and I wanted to have something to take its place when it is only pretending to cool the room. SO far we have not needed the evaporative function at all. Just the fan portion has been effectively blowing cool air from the main portion of the home into my office. It is very quiet considering the amount of air it moves. The remote control works very well. The manufacturer supplied an additional two batteries for it, so it will be a long time before I need to buy replacement batteries. I had a circular fan in its place. Since it is in a short hallway leading into the office, that fan was always in the way. This one is less wide, so less restrictive for walking, but still moves plenty of air. When the humidity gets too low as it sometimes does, I will be using the evaporative function to add moisture into the air. It is well engineered and a good fit for my use. I like it a lot!

I was impressed with this fan's performance! It's been a lifesaver in my garage home gym, which gets pretty hot in the summer. The fan's airflow is perfect, and I liked the adjustable vents on the front of the fan. I'm okay with them being manually adjustable, as it's fewer things to break. The coloring function worked as advertised and worked well. I used both water and a few of the four included ice packs, and the fan was able to easily cool me down during my workouts. The remote control worked well, and I loved the inclusion of extra batteries! You don't see that often, and this fan came with two extra batteries along with the one already in the remote. Thanks! I'm using this in the garage as stated, but it would make a great bedroom fan, too, or a small living room fan. I had no leakage while the fan was in use, and as long as it's emptied before being moved, I don't see that ever becoming an issue.

This unit works very well as a compact tower fan and moves a surprising amount of air for its size. The oscillation helps circulate air around the room, and the different speed and mode settings make it easy to adjust for daytime use or sleeping. It has a clean, modern appearance that fits nicely in a bedroom or office without taking up much floor space. The evaporative cooling feature does make a noticeable difference, especially in a dry environment. Highly recommend this fan!! Firstly it came well packaged, arrived with no damage at all. It’s compact in size but that doesn’t impact how effective this fan is. Love that it’s smaller in size as it’s easier to store. Love how sleek this fan looks. So many different settings to suit your needs, comes with the ice blocks if you wish to use that setting. Works really well, cools the room down fairly quickly. Very quiet, I have this on at night and it doesn’t keep me awake. The cord is fairly long which is great as I can move the fan around. The materials this fan is made from are durable and sturdy. Greta value for the money, I would definitely buy more of these.
