Bought this because it looks so colorful in the pictures… What I received is basically just translucent vinyl with a design on it… It was supposed to be colorful and bright also it doesn’t work amazing as a privacy screen. I probably only distorts what you’re seeing by like 20%… Was hoping this would be good over the shower glass and the bathroom window but I’m afraid it doesn’t do anything but it was advertised to do doesn’t produce nice rainbow rays it’s not colorful and it’s not really a privacy screen. Easy to apply. Looks good. Nice size. It actually blocks what is on the other side. Can still see through when you get close though. But the rainbow effect is cute.

Well I wanted to Love this. But....I don't. The design is on one side the other side is plain black. Not what I expected but no big deal. Tried to put it on. The darn thing wouldn't even stay on the window. I had to tape it on. :-/

The media could not be loaded. This film is thick and easy to apply. It was easy to cut & trim and the colors look good. This film shows plenty of colors but requires a lot of light to really show. It’s not great for privacy as you can see through it easily enough but it’s perfect for adding a little pop to a room. Looks great. ... show more

I got this for my French doors as the sun shines directly through in the morning and can be overly bright. There is about 10 panels on each door, so I had to cut the film to size more than you would for a larger window. My front room is filled with pretty colors now when the light hits it right. It was easy to cut with my Exacto, and it applied well using soapy water in a spray bottle and squeegee-ing it with a debit card. They haven't become loose yet, but if you don't adhere all corners well, they will become loose, hence my four stars for adhesion. ... show more

I almost burnt my hands trying to smooth it on my window because the film got so hot. And to be clear, it's currently 9° outside, it REALLY absorbs the heat from the sun. I can't even imagine how hot it would make my room in summer time. I'm taking it down. I guess it works ok blacking out the window, but it doesn't have the pretty colors on it like it shows in the photos. Waste of money. ... show more

Our house has been incredibly dark as one side of it faces the neighbors and is just TOO close (it's how the lots are)...and of course, because of Murphy's law, those are the one set of neighbors we don't really like. So we've been keeping the blinds down for forever, but as it's moving into fall, I really want to bring more light into the house without losing privacy. This is the BEST solution. I love that this pattern also makes things into various rainbow colors. It's so much more fun than the plain privacy window film options! On top of that, the neighbors we don't really like hate rainbow colors. So that is an added bonus, lol. I basically did not follow any of the instructions that are included except for #1...I did clean the windows *very* well before proceeding. I am not sure if water or soapy water is going to be a good thing when applying this. I don't seem to have an issue with the film sticking to the window without that. Everyone is complaining about bubbles, but I did not really have that problem. Maybe they had bubbles because they sprayed the window with water or soapy water? I am not sure. But I did not have a bubble issue. I didn't have a squeegee tool handy so I just used my hand. It seemed to do fine. I am going to cut the edges off and clean it up a bit with a utility knife...but I used a scissors to generally cut it. I also didn't measure it. It's a little sloppy at the edges for now but once I get the utility knife, it won't be. I didn't need two people to do it. It's a bit awkward, but I managed to do this by myself. I also had a clean table nearby so I could lay things down. One thing is that the film DOES pick up everything on the backside - so I had pet hair, my own hair, pieces of dust and dirt start to cling to it. I got all that off, but it's important to not lay it down anywhere where it can pick things up. The cling wrap on the back that I took off is a fun thing for my cats to crinkle and make noise with. I love this and am doing most of the downstairs windows of the house with this! You can't see anything in the house other than some generic shadow/form, but not really...day or night.... Good fences make good neighbors, right? But so do window privacy films... ... show more
