Easy to install (although identifying which side was static side was a bit tricky initially). I stalled on dining room buffet we purchased so I could hide all the stuff. Glass looks like it was originally frosted. Perfect. Was able to do all 4 doors in about an hr.

IT COMES WITH A KIT!! The kit alone is worth 5 stars. I ordered the blackout type and and as an overnight worker it is the best!! No sunlight shines through and the film itself shines pretty colors without a reflection when the sun is bright

I was excited to get this window treatment up in my kitchen because my window looks almost exactly into my neighbors window and it’s super awkward. Plus who wants to star at your neighbors house every time you go to the kitchen sink. The window covering does allow some natural light in while providing privacy. This is more difficult to work with than I was anticipating. I have done a lot of peel and stick wallpaper work and this was more difficult. The material doesn’t cut well (and you might as well throw away the box cutter knife it comes with!) it tears easily when trimming the outside border. Also, if you have any of the covering on the border of the window it will allow air bubbles in and will not stick appropriately. Any minor defect from applying this also shows so depending on how much of a perfectionist you are this might not be the product for you. The covering was not wide enough for my window that I could use one consistent piece so I have to go side to side rather than up and down which meant I had to try and align several pieces and that did not go well. If you over lap the product it doesn’t stick properly to the window. The nice thing is that they do include clear instructions and everything you need to install (again the knife provided sucks, make sure to have a very sharp cutting tool to avoid tearing).

Their are side front windows by our front door that are not ideal for priva y, security or heat flow in summer. I disagree with a former submission that the film does not offer privacy. Nothing is visible inside or out. I became frustrated with the material and had to start over a few times wasting product., but for the price it was a great deal and these windows served as a test for other areas I want a little more privacy and help in blocking summer heat. As needed I will buy this product again.
