Works exactly as advertised. Super simple and easy to install. The adhesive is really strong, so be sure you get it where ya want it. It does come with an extra adhesive if you mess up the first or want to move it later. I see a lot of reviews about night vision not working. For those of you who don’t read the directions or even the page that you’re buying this from, it clearly states that it DOES NOT SUPPORT NIGHT VISION. Infrared light is bounced back from the window.. this will happen with any night vision camera. If you want a night vision camera for the outside, Blink sells a very effective one that you can buy through Amazon. Mine works great. This method is far cheaper if you want to clearly see what’s going outside through a window, particularly at nighttime. Just remember that whatever you’re looking at needs to be lit. A porch with a porch light is plenty bright enough, for example.

If you're looking to turn your indoor minis into outside cameras, this is a decent option, but ONLY FOR DAYTIME (unless you have exterior lighting all night). If there's no light outside at night, the camera is completely useless. Beware, the adhesive is SUPER strong so don't stick it if you aren't sure! I don't like that I cannot get the camera out of the housing once it's attached to the window, there is nothing to grab onto so if you need to reset your camera for some reason, you won't be able to without removing the whole thing from the window (and then you have to toss the mount because it won't stick again). I'm rethinking having these on the window so I'm going to have to try removing with WD-40 (all around the edges and let sit for five minutes, hopefully I'll then be able to slide a blade around and remove it).

The negatives: You cant use these with the night vision. The camera is sensitive enough thouth that if you have street lights or motion sensing lights in the area you can see most things. Positives: They will mount to any window, and allow you to cheaply have camera around your home.

Bought this for my daughter because she has neighbors who were messing around her house. Unfotunately, for her needs she needed the camera on an angel and this only works straight ahead. I kept it because I will use it my house. Worth the money and gives a clear picture when attached to a window. Just remember to turn the ir light off.
