I love love love this window shade! I was skeptical at first, but I put up some sheers that I loved and I was uneasy about someone being able to see in. I'm 68 years old and I knew I couldn't install an actual window blind by myself. After searching for alternatives. I came across these paper window shades. I watched the videos about installation of them. They seemed awful easy and looked nice. So, I bought these. They were super affordable and delivery was next day. Opening the box I was a little nervous as to how thin they were. But after checking them out, they seem to have some other type of material that makes them tough to tear. So, I held them up to my window and they were a bit wide. However, they were super easy to trim to fit the window. The adhesive strip seems strong but I guess I'll see how long they stay up. All in all, from opening the box, trimming the shade and putting them up, it was probably 10 minutes! They are super lightweight, so it makes them very easy for us "weaklings" ☺️ to lift them and hold them up while pressing the adhesive against the window frame. After letting them down to where I wanted them and pulling my curtains back, they look very neat and hang very nicely. I would recommend that you let them hang a but before installing them, to get the fullness of the length. Also, you may want to order one a few inches longer than you need as these don't really extend to the full length. But mine went as far as I needed them to and fit nicely in my window. They loom just light a window blind unless you inspect them closely. They look nice from the outside as well. Not cheap at all. They come with two clips that allow you to raise them in different shapes as stated in the ad. Overall, I can honestly state that I am more than pleased with the quality, price, ease of installation and appearance. These are great because if they don't come in a size you need for a smaller window, they can be cut down to size and just stuck right up. I'm also ordering one for my odd size window. These aren't light filtering. But I only wanted them as privacy. I'm very pleased and highly recommend! ... show more

These blinds are intended to be temporary, but I didn't use the sticky tape to hang mine. I used some very sturdy thumbtacks, and I do not regret the decision 😊 These blinds have instantly blocked out the sun, and because they work so well, I believe I'm going to order more for other rooms in my house (for my office and bathrooms). There are some clear clips that came with the blinds, and I'll use those to manage the amount of sun light to come in. I LOVE the sun, but on the days that I want to sleep in, I can't. Now that I own these blinds I'll be able to relax more on Saturday mornings. I definitely recommend these! ... show more

I live in a row-home w/tall ceilings and 2 front windows over 4' long and I get full sun through those windows from 10-4 every day. I could get a suntan in my living room, but the full sun was causing a lot of glare on my laptop. These were a perfect solution to dim the glare, while still letting light in. This would be a nice temporary blind however it is stuffed in a box folded in half & the creases Never came out of it even after hanging for awhile. I would not purchase again because of the fold marks permanently creased in the blinds bottom

I know it's stupid to post this pic but I just want those in the community to see how insanely dark it is. The shades were recently installed - pending the motorized shade (in production) that costs 100 times. Yes, the removal of these temporary shades will probably damage the textures of the drywall but this product is rad and so worth it. ... show more
