I have a 16x20 bamboo board I've been very happy with for years. I wanted something about the same size for camping, and for some reason ordered this enormous 18x24 board. It's very large, solid and made of a hard, thick plastic - - and inexpensive.It does have a nice grove around the perimeter, which I like, and none of our other boards have. As for warping, I can detect some warping when sighting down the length of the board, but it is not a problem. Too large to fit in our dishwasher (or our sink for that matter), it will have to be hand cleaned. This is not an issue for me, considering its intended use. I plan on using it on camping and fishing trips. It is just the right size for cleaning keeper pike, walleye or burbot, and of course all panfish.I'm not concerned about bacterial contamination, since I always clean my boards immediately after use with a solution of a capful of chlorine bleach in a quart spray bottle. I purchased this item for its size. It fits perfectly on 1/2 my sink, so I use it to save counterspace. I also use it to chop large fruit, like pineapple and watermelon quickly. Its a little heavy, but it cleans quick. Works fine, but after several uses, Ive noticed all the little tiny grooves that any cutting board will get after a while. Was hoping the plastic would fare better - so not 5 stars. Otherwise, this item is good for when I have large chopping to do. ... show more

I needed this size cutting board to remove silverskin and fat from 10-12 lb pork loins. This size accommodates those pork loin lengths with ease. No more hanging off the board or cutting into smaller sections. This size also bridges 1 of 2 kitchen sink tubs and stays in place. It is exactly what I wanted. However it is too big and I have nowhere to store it. It is too big to stand up on the counter, too big to fit in in overhead or base cupboards, too big for pantry shelves, etc. So I am returning it.     • It's actually quite useful.
I compared the measurements to my kitchen area. It is big. I thought I'd probably only use it once a year, but I've now used it several times over the past two months. It fits nicely over part of my sink, giving me extra counter space and still access to my sink. I like it for chopping vegetables that like to spread - such as cabbage. And also for meats (like cutting up two roasted chickens). I appreciate the gutter. It is a good thickness so that I can chop/slice without worrying about breaking the board even though it is only partially supported. I had bought this as I have only had small cutting boards you find in the stores. I do a very large turkey for Easter and Thanksgiving. I usually had to break the meat down in the pan and then transfer for further cutting. This was a great size and accommodated the whole turkey. The quality is there. Just wish the groove was s bit wider. Wanted one to catch all the watermelon juice. But other than that, it is a great cutting board.

My brisket cutting board. I bought a smoker to smoke whole briskets and they I realized that I had no place to trim a brisket or move it to the smoker, or carve it. This is perfect!
