Time tested design, no nonsense just pure function with an eye towards reliability. Well made, no wobble/looseness, precision feel. Very reminiscent of the virtually indestructible tongs used in a restaurant I worked in at nights during high school. Those would be thrown around, dumped in commercial dishwashers and then dumped en masse into dry buckets for use. This was back when the earth was young so I guess those were made in the U.S. Maybe these are too - don't know but at this price point, seems unlikely. This appears to be *exactly* the same design. Also reminds me of the knuckle head kitchen staff using these to snap at each other. Clack, clack, clack! Kids... Well done Winco. Probably unbeatable at this price point. ... show more

These were a little bit bigger than I expected and much more heavy duty like you could flip a steak with these! If that's what you're looking for this will be your perfect purchase. They don't have the lockdown feature like most tongs do but I think that's because they are heavier duty. We just put her over band around them to keep them from being sprung open all the time. ... show more

Perfect restaurant style tongs. I avoid plastic tongs and other kitchen utensils to keep harmful particles away from my family. Stainless Steel or Wood is the way to go.
