This is what it says on the tin--a fairly large aluminum roasting tray. It definitely could be a bit thicker, and I honestly wish it were deeper or just a tinge larger--it's only slightly bigger than my cookie sheets. I prefer things not to have tefflon, but I've also used straight aluminum before that doesn't stick quite as bad as this puppy does. Anything and everything will stick to it, so I recommend using silpats or parchment paper (Silpats will also slow down the browning on the bottom). It also scratches pretty easy, and is generally a bit cheap feeling. But it's not too expensive for what it is, so it's stuck around in my kitchen. ... show more

Exactly what I needed. I don't use this for baking. I bought two of them for my wood cutouts from my laser cutter machine. I use one with vinegar in it and one with water. So, I give each wood item a vinegar bath to get rid of the smokey wood smell. These are a great size and get the job done.

I originally bought this pan to use as water bath for making cheesecakes, and it works really well for that purpose. I have since used it for making Chex mix, and I was able to make a double batch in it easily. I think it would also be great for making larger versions of some of my casseroles to feed a crowd.
