I use this in my main bathroom, it’s great for non Slip and cushions the feet for luxurious showers. I like that it’s removable for cleaning vs stick ons. I picked this particular model as it was bpa free, appeared sleek, and blended with the rest of my bathroom decor.

I purchased this because I needed a longer mat which my 70-lb dog could stand on completely (i.e. no paws on slick tub surface). Works well as to length (he's never off the mat at front or back ends of tub). However, I'm going to buy a second one because if I sit on the side of the tub with feet inside the tub, he ends up standing closer to the wall side. Therefore I have to move the mat closer to and curving about 2 inches up the wall side so that he is still standing on the mat (it's not wide enough to cover the whole tub bottom even if centered in the tub). When I do that, part of the bottom of the tub (on opposite side from where he's standing, i.e. where my feet are) is not covered by the mat. When my dog steps closer to me, he can easily slip if paws are wet or soapy. It's a very sturdy product, with minimal chemical smell which went away after airing it out overnight in the garage. Very pleased with quality!

The vendor said this mat would smell a little so they suggested we air it out for 24 hrs. So we put it out on our balcony (ocean breeze) for a week. It still smelled. Then I soaked it in HOT water and vinegar three times it still smelled. Then I soaked it in hot soapy water. there is still a smell. Not as bad though. It shouldn't be a major job. It makes me nervous as to what chemicals are in it that are so strong. Thinking about not using it at all. My husband threw away the packaging so I can't return it!!!
