My Onyx showers are already non slip, but my knees are in bad shape so wanted a bit of extra insurance against slip and fall. These shower mats are good looking, comfortable to my feet, and stay put/don't slip or slide around. Good selection of colors. Got the gray and it goes well eith my shower floor and walls. The top side is firm ribbed plastic strips bonded underside to black flex rubber ribs. The black rubber provides the no slip against the floor. Comes rolled, a bit curled when you unpack, so takes a day or so to fully flatten. Laid it out in a sunny spot and the warm sun relaxed the curl quickly. Pleased, good product at good price, nice looking, and would buy again.

We have an old bathtub in a rental. Whoever painted the bathtub did not sand it prior, so the paint was loose and was bubbling or ripping whenever we put down our suction cup shower mat. So, we went on the hunt for a non-suction cup shower mat that didn’t seem terrible to clean (so many other ones seem like mold magnets!). I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but am hugely impressed by it! It doesn’t slip at all in the shower despite not having suction cups, and is super breathable and open so hasn’t had any mold or slime build up like basically every other shower mat in existence. It also feels a bit spa-like, doesn’t feel cheap at all which is what I was worried about based on the other reviews. Even if we didn’t need to buy a shower mat without suction cups because of the paint peeling issue, I would absolutely get this one anyways, since the suction cups are slime hotspots.

This is an interesting shower mat. I don't think it's really designed to be as comfortable as a traditional shower mat. I believe it would be better served as slip protection in a locker room, outside a sauna or hot tub, next to the steps in a pool area, etc. It does not STICK to the tub floor like the kind with suction cups, and can be moved around with your feet if you want to reposition it, but it's very easy to clean, seems very well made, and it's a lot better than a slippery tub floor with no mat at all. It's not the most comfortable to stand on for longer periods of time. However, it does provide great slip protection when getting in and out of the shower tub. I like the strips of rubber grip this has on the bottom, instead of the suction cups that collect water and cause stains that have to be cleaned quite frequently. Overall I'm pretty pleased, but the plastic feeling strips this is made of might not be for everyone.

It does that I was looking for: heavy enough to stay put when wet, easy to roll up, stand up to dry in the top or shower, no marks or mildew underneath the mat or on the shower/tub floor and comfortable on bare feet. Esthetically appealing too.

Looks great, not very comfortable though. Very heavy and feels premium, doesn't slide around either. Unfortunately it's just not comfortable to stand on. Maybe it will get better the more I use it or maybe I'm just getting used to it but it's pretty hard.

Don’t buy this. I can’t believe this is marketing as a no slip shower mat or shower exit mat. The mad itself is more slippery than if I waxed the floor of my shower and added some soap and then polished it with a buffer. I don’t know what this company is thinking. Maybe they don’t speak English or something. Maybe they’ve never done a product test, but save your money. They wasted my time.
