I've searched high and low at local stores for these, with no luck, so I'm so happy I found them here. I had a set from years ago, and the handle on one broke when my daughter was trying to stir a heavy batter. But that's the point - they are NOT made to stir cookie dough - they have a fine, flexible silicon head that is the best scraper for getting the last bit out of the bowl, scraping the last of the pasta sauce out of the jar, scraping the frosting off the side of the mixing bowl, etc. I have more traditional, heavy scrapers for mixing cookie dough, etc. Before these arrive, my daughter and I commented that we missed this scraper every day. No more! We only had the big and small scrapers (1&2 in the package) in the past, so it'll be interesting to see if #3 is useful at all. But we don't care - we're so happy to have our soft, flexible 'get the last bit out' scrapers again! ... show more

After my last scraper joined the graveyard of headless handles I decided to purchase this set. I have to say, this is one of my better purchases that has stood the test of time and usage. They are well made still going strong after 5 years.. With all of the abuse I’ve put them through they have not burned, melted or curled,. in other words, they are definitely heat resistant & durable. The silicone heads are still attached to the handles and holding their original firmness. They have not lost their shape or had their flexibility weakened. The handles are sturdy and provide a good grip. They don’t feel heavy or uncomfortable if you have to use one stirring for over half an hour (i.e. making a roux, gumbo). Overall, they’re great for scrapping/stirring/folding/spredding hot and cold mixtures. They work well in mixing bowls, blenders, pots and pans. They are also versatile should you find yourself having to navigate the bottom caverns of a Hellmans 128 oz Sam’s Club jar to grab that last dollop of mayonnaise. Been there, done that and it works! Best of all? Those pretty blue heads make them easy to find in a drawer or utensil caddy that seems full of black & stainless steel! Overall, this is a great value for your lifetime kitchen arsenal. It's a set of rubber spatulas. What can I say. They do not mow the lawn for me or clean the toilets, but they do scrape batter out of a bowl like nobody's business and the tips slide off easily into the dishwasher so that both parts can clean properly without stowaway remnants remaining in the space between the spatula head and the base. Have had these for a long time now using almost daily (I cook almost everything from scratch because I am crazy and a glutton for punishment) and washing almost daily in the dishwasher and they are still like new. ... show more

    • Get ready to forget all about your current spatula!

I never thought I'd love a spatula, much less a set of spatulas, as much as I love these spatulas. They're modern yet elegant while not sacrificing any function for form. And so affordable, too! I bought a nice Oxo stainless steel spatula at the same time as this and they've changed my life completely. I used to a plastic spatula and was always getting frustrated because it was so difficult to get every last piece of food off of them, especially if I let my Stouffer's lasagna linger on it for a while... anyway, once I got these I immediately knew it was safe to throw away my other spatulas, so I did except for one of them that I kept but only because it really belongs to my ex-gf and we might get back together so I don't want her to ask me why I threw it out her stuff, you know? We'll see how it goes, we're just talking about it right now... I'm pretty sure that she'll love these new spatulas as much as I do, though. I use them for everything from scraping the protein powder off the sides of the blender to making scrambled eggs and those frozen dinner for two from PF Changs. It's just that I don't have anyone to share them with now, so they're really a meal for one in my case... ... show more

These spatulas work great in our home since 2011. After manhandling and breaking one spatula from our first set after five years, I was glad to see we could buy the same product again. Now we have doubles of a couple of them going strong. The heads come off the handles for easy cleaning and drying. You might have to pull hard at first, but then they come on and off easily, but not too easily such that they slip off while in use or anything like that. We used them for a while without removing the heads, but when it was helpful to do so, we were able to with no problems. They seem to work great in hot things, resisting high heat well. They are thick, flexible but not too flexible, and very pretty looking. After five years, our older set has gotten a bit opaque and the blue has dulled, but they have retained their strength and suppleness. They are so very easy to clean, too. I honestly get happy just looking at the picture of them--which is true to life. I love them that much. ... show more
