They are a solid option for weekend golfers like me who are seeking improved performance and consistency. They offer forgiveness, distance, and ease of use. The wide sole design helps to improve turf interaction, especially on shots where the ball is sitting on the ground or in the rough. This has reduced my fat shots and increased my consistency in ball striking! They may not go as far as other game improvement irons, but hey, we need all the forgiveness we can get. ... show more

    • Great set of sticks!
Love these sticks. the senior shaft works well for me. I still have decent swing speed,but not nearly what I had 30 years ago. Off-center hits still travel well, and stay pretty close to the target line. The only concern some might have would be the weight of the head. They're pretty hefty, but it's not an issue for me while swinging, and again, I'm a senior. the value can't be underestimated either.     • OK. Easier to hit than regular irons, but harder than Hybrids
I’ve heard these are good clubs for beginners and high handicap players. I hit a few balls on the 7 iron and struggled . Wanted to return it but the return policy is very strict and not free. So don’t buy these unless you’re certain they’re for you. Takes some time but I’m getting used to them.

My husband bought a set of LP2's. He is not a beginner golfer. He is 70+ years old, plays 3 times a week and carries a 7 handicap from 5400-5800 yards. He was frustrated not getting his shots elevated enough and not stopping on the greens. He removed his previous set 5 and 6 irons first and slowly inserted clubs into his bag 1 or 2 clubs at a time over a 4-month period. Before he could insert the last 2 irons, (GW&PW) he made a hole in one with the 7 iron from 147 yards (elevated par 3). He says these clubs hit high and straight and stop. Not really workable but that's okay. He says by the end of this summer he hopes to be down another 2 or 3 strokes with more laugh lines added to his face. Golf and life are better now. ... show more

Great looking club but… The soles are so wide they make a divot nearly impossible, especially on tighter lies. If you like hybrids and hit them well these will be great. If you're use to more traditional irons and take a divot these wont be the club for you, IMO.

    • New to golf? Buy these irons.
Absolutely, positively recommend for ALL beginners. I’ve been playing about 8 months, I have taken about 10 lessons on irons alone, conventional irons were just impossible (as a beginner with a long way to go). Honestly I struggled just being confident in applying what I’ve learned. Insert these clubs, might be a little bit placebo but I felt confident the moment they touched the grass and wouldn’t you know it, my first shot on a par 3 with the 5 was 10 yards short of the green, and the most pure contact I’ve ever made. I continued my way around the 9 hole, par 3 course and 100% honest truth, maybe hit 2 bad shots with these clubs. When I think about rounds leading up, that would have been more like 30+ with 4 lost balls. It’s easily the best round I’ve played and due largely to the irons, today. These clubs should darn near be mandatory for new golfers to increase confidence, practice of fundamentals, pace of play, and overall fun. I am so incredibly pleased with how these clubs perform I could not recommend them more. They single-handedly made the early stages of golf more fun, and less stressful. If you’re new, do yourself a favor, buy these irons, they are an absolute hack to hang with your more experienced friends while you learn. ... show more
