This hammock stand is durable, well designed, and is relatively easy to put together. I have a tree-hanging hammock, which is fine to use, but it doesn't always come together consistently. This design allows me to set up the hammock pretty much the same way each time. This frame, made of solid metal tubing (larger diameter and thicker metal than I expected) requires no tools for construction. The instructions are not crystal clear, so it may take an attempt or two to get it just right - I didn't put the hooks in upside down and I mounted the wheels wrong the first time. But once you get it, you get it. The screw knobs and fly wheel hook screws make it really easy to tighten/loosen them. Once put together, the frame did not wiggle at all, even though I had it on uneven ground at first - it held me just fine. The hammock itself is very attractive, with strong rope ties attached to the large metal eye. I was easily able to stretch the hammock to fit to the 2nd highest hook point on either side, for a comfortable "ride". The hammock is comfortable, and the matching pillow, with tie strings, is a nice touch. I really like the hammock stow bag that doubles as a catch-all while you're in the hammock, where I kept my phone charger brick and snacks when I was relaxing. The wheels are handy, although I'm keeping mine in the bag in our shed, so I can get it out easily as needed. (I don't want the frame to rust or get stuck in place, if I leave it exposed to the elements.) The bag is amply sized to fit all the pieces once broken down. There's nothing better than setting it up for a good 2-hour hang-out session, knowing how easy it is to put it all together again the next time. ... show more

Just got it yesterday. Will use for camping and relaxing. Been in it once for very short time. My son got it put together fairly easily. Someone like me, not mechanically inclined, will need help! Picture instructions only, no text. Carrying bag only useful if you plan to take it apart to haul around, of course. We plan to tie it down in bed of truck to take camping. Again, Amazon, when my order qualifies for free shipping, don’t add shipping cost to my total then make me find and choose free shipping!!!!!!! ... show more

1st after reading all the reviews I was nervous about the hammock not fitting the stand....and when I got it I got more nervous, but it just takes a little bit of work. After you put the stand together and attach the hooks, spread the hammock out, split the cotton strings evenly, and put them around the Y of the base, attach the ring to the hook. After that, carefully working your way from the inside out bring one string from each side of the Y up and over to secure it. I believe there are 5 on each side so a total of 10 per Y. The last few do take a little extra to get them on, but after that the hammock is secure and ready to go!! Husband and dog approved. ... show more

not quite as nice as the first one we bought even though it is the same setup and design. isn't welded as good as the first one, and the hammock itself is not quite as nice. Was drawn in with it having the wheels for moving. Just have to use and see.

Pros- I love the colors of the coffee hammock. Our house is dark gray/white/black with copper accents, so the colors go great. The hammock was easy for me and my 13 year old to put together. Took less than 30 minutes. The stand seems very sturdy. The wheels make moving it extremely easy. Comes with a case to pack up. Fast shipping. Cons: The 'pocket' the hammock folds into was ripped down the side. Ill have to stitch it up. It did make me initially worry that the fabric of the hammock itself might not be too durable, but so far so good The frame does seem to scratch easily so be careful when maneuvering pieces around during setup. ... show more
