  • Sense of Freedom
This breast pump has given me so much more “freedom” since purchasing! Although my original breast pump was battery-operated, I had to hold the pumps onto my body and essentially had to wait to do anything until I had my two hands back. The original pump I had was also very bulky, and I felt I needed to go to a room to pump if company was over. With the Willow 3.0, I easily position them and tuck them into a supportive sports bra that has a little extra room in it, and am able to walk around or get chores done while pumping. You can pull your shirt over your sports bra with the pumps on, and feel comfortable walking around with company over or in public. They are not completely discreet, since appears that you had breast implants, and you can lightly hear the mechanics pumping, but I am not personally bothered by those things! The Willow 3.0 has been a great purchase for my lifestyle, and will be recommending to all of my friends! ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY WILLOW PRODUCTS. They are awful.
Willow 3.0 and Willow Go are both cheap, difficult to use/clean, and not worth the money. I got the Willow Go breast pump through insurance and still had to pay $184.99, which I was fine with because I am a homecare doctor so therefore, I had to have a portable pump when I returned to work. I have been using my pump for 2 months and they have broken twice. My left pumps motor went after 3-4 weeks of use. I have to exclusively pump due to an issue with my son's tongue and since my new motor wasn't coming in the mail for several days I had to drive over an hour to the closest baby store and buy a new pump to use in the meantime. I ended up also buying the Willow 3 online because I thought 'if my Willow Go breaks down again while I am working I am screwed' so I needed another portable pump. That was a mistake and a waste of $439. I immediately had issues with it. For starters, you only get the option to pump into bags with the starter kit. So I had to spend another $50 on a breast milk container. I bought a 21mm because that's what I had successfully been using on my Willow Go. I had nothing but trouble from the first time I used the Willow 3.0. Milk leaking from between the two main parts, the pumps not automatically switching from stimulation to expression (you can't manually do it by the way, horrible design), error codes, limited milk expression. I talked to tech support to see if I could return the pump. Nope. But they did tell me I was probably using the wrong size flange. I complained about all the money I already spent so they sent me a free 19mm attachment, the only positive thing I can say about them. I got my Willow Go motor replacement before the new attachment so I went back to using the Go. Here I am 1 month later, the motor breaks on the Go again. The replacement one the sent just a few weeks prior. Same issue. I have to get ANOTHER replacement motor. So I go back to using the Willow 3.0. I made sure to try it out before going to bed so I knew it would work with the new 19mm flange attachment. The first time I used it everything went well so I thought I was in the clear. But at 2am during a feeding wake up, blinking yellow light again. Another error code. With baby screaming I had to feed him first and then figure out the pumps after. I do a deep clean, which is what is recommended for this error code. You know what is really nice when you have a colic baby, who rarely sleeps more than 2 hours at a time, when you have postpartum depression? Washing a pump you spent almost 500 dollars on and barely used when you should be asleep. It is now 3:10am and I try the Willow 3.0 again because my plug in pump isn't set up. Still get that blinking yellow light. By this point I have had enough so I put my one Willow Go on, pump one side for 20 minutes, then pump the other side after for 20 minutes. I layed down for less than 20 minutes and baby starts screaming again. It's time for another feed. I am in tears by this point. After this feeding I bust out my plug in pump from another brand and pass out. I am so incredibly disappointed with Willow. I tried chatting with someone on their website to express my concerns but they don't have a complaint department. Just a person who works in tech support who will "pass my concerns along to his supervisor". I figured I would write a review on the product on Willow's website but I can't find a way to write one. I have now read multiple reviews outside of the Willow website and have found I am not the only one with these same issues. I understand breast pumps are considered 'one time use' products and for sanitation or whatever reason you can't return them. But when the products are garbage you should be able to get your money back. ... show more

  • Quality, durability, ease
Okay I’ve waited to write my review!!! After I had my baby a nurse at the hospital informed me about the willow breast pump! She told me the price, she told me it’s a learning Curve but she loved them. I gave it some thought and kept plugging the wall breast pump in for a few months when I could. Well I wasn’t keeping up with my baby, I was missing my pump schedule because my schedule was busy! I thought about it and thought about it, i needed something that I could have more ease. I decided to go with the Willow. The willow is a game changer! If you are a mama on the go and you pump every three hours these are for you! I still have my wall breast pump for back up but I mostly use my willow. I work a FT job, and college PT and my daughter is three months old. I wasn’t pumping like I should with the wall pump because I was go go go! I got the willow and was scared because of all the reviews!!! Well there is always going to be bad reviews! I finally have learned my willow and more milk is being stored in my freezer finally! Yes I have had mishaps, but it really helps when you watch the videos and research. I definitely would say buy the reusable containers the bags get too expensive the containers I just pour into my wall breast pump bags and freeze the milk. I ordered my flange sizes to small in the beginning, and you can tell because your nipples are sucked so hard they feel like there going to fall off! But as soon as I ordered the correct size it was fine!!! When I get the error messages I don’t stress out I always check my app and do what it says and I’m up and pumping! It’s an investment but I would take this over a cord anyday. One thing I would change is they need two chargers or one that has two connections... I’ve had to replace one of my Willow’s because it started making a loud noise but the process was so smooth! I never missed a pump with the exchange process. Yes, I’ve spilt a little milk, yes I have flipped the pumps over before changing the one to two and spilling a little milk. Yes I’ve bought the wrong flange sizes, yes I’ve spent money! But it’s worth it! I pack them up and take them every where I go! Does it make my boobs look bigger! At Times yes but they fit under my shirts, or I’ll wear a sweater or jacket to cover. Are they loud? At times yes, I think they are louder with the containers than the actual bags. Can you bend over? With the containers you have to squat, the bags I could do almost everything. I love that the app keeps track of my history. Suction. Well sometimes it’s uncomfortable and the suction maybe a little stronger but after I changed sizes the process was better. ... show more
