Its unique ergonomic handle, a dual-expression switch, and fully in-bra cup make it the first of its kind. It uses suction patterns and strength just like an electric pump so it helps to promote output and remove milk in a similar manner. Why do I need a manual pump? Whether you're managing letdown, relieving engorgement, or pumping in a pinch, Willow Wave gives you full control to pump in bra and discreetly. What is the capacity of the Willow Wave? Wave containers can hold up to 5 oz. How do I switch modes on Willow Wave? Wave has two modes: Stimulation and expression, which is controlled by a switch on the handle. Slide the teal switch up for stimulation to trigger a letdown. Slide down for expression and continuous milk flow. How do I clean my Willow Wave pump? The collection cup is top-rack dishwasher safe. Tubing and handle can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Your bra should be snug and stretchy, with full coverage so that only the top of your Collection Cup peeks out. Center your nipple in the flange tunnel and fasten your bra to secure the Collection Cup in place. IMPORTANT! I am returning this product because the backflow protection system has failed twice, and I am extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially considering the potential damage it caused to two expensive breast pumps. The first failure happened after only a few uses with my Spectra pump. The backflow protection failed and allowed milk to leak directly into the tubing provided with the cups. Milk traveled throughout the tubing and came dangerously close to reaching and potentially damaging my Spectra pump. The second failure happened within ONE MINUTE of using the cups with my BabyBuddha 2.0. Once again, the backflow protection system failed and milk was pulled into the tubing. This time, it contaminated my BabyBuddha tubing system, which was essentially brand new. I now have to purchase replacement tubing because of this product failure. What makes this even more frustrating is that your website specifically states that these cups are compatible with both Spectra and BabyBuddha pumps. I purchased these cups specifically because of that advertised compatibility, so I did not expect normal use with either pump to put the pumps themselves at risk. Breast pumps are not inexpensive, and I should not have to worry about a collection cup’s backflow protection failing and potentially ruining two separate pumps. Having the exact same safety feature fail twice, with two different compatible pumps, makes me completely uncomfortable continuing to use this product. I am extremely disappointed. Not only am I returning the cups, but I am now having to spend additional money replacing my BabyBuddha tubing because the backflow protection system failed. Thankfully, neither pump appears to have been permanently damaged, but both came far too close for me to feel confident or safe using these cups again. ... show more

The suction on this is strong compared to other hand pumps. It provides more flexibility for movement and position than other hand pumps, but it all also has more parts to be cleaned, and you can't just use the container for storage like with other hand pumps. All in all, I like that i can use it while my baby is sleeping on my lap, but it's a bit more washing. *after using it for a few months, the frequency with which the tubing and pump get milk in them and the difficulty to clean those parts make this less than ideal, but still worth the purchase in my opinion. I have been very impressed with the Willow Wave Double Manual Breast Pump. I am nor unhappy with this, but I think it needs some work. I did manage to collect my normal amount of milk in just ten extra minutes than my motorized wearables would have gotten it. However there are quite a few cons: 1.) The flange being solid colored makes it hard to see if your nipnop is centered in the pump. Especially in the dark, trying to quietly do the MOTN pump and not wake baby, I usually use like my phone screen to line the girls up... can't do that with this. 2.) The handle is obscenely large if you're more fun sized like me. It literally takes me either both hands or I can press it down on the mattress to just work the lever with one hand. It feels like a man designed it lol. 3.) The flange does not 100% perfectly connect to the cup... I spilled some out of the side trying to pour into a storage bottle. Not a big deal as I am an overproducer but annoying because now I have sheets to wash on top of all the baby laundry. My mom got me this because my stage 5 velcro monkey baby did not want to be put down... so I needed a way to pump with 1 hand. I also bought it, not knowing that, and am planning to return mine and just keep the one. It works, it's just not the easiest. ... show more

I use these ALLL the time. My go to for pumping. Plugs right into my spectra S1 no issue and I have as much output as I would when I use the spectra original parts. I've read a lot of reviews and watched several videos about this pump, and from what I gathered, most people didn't recommend it. I normally don't write reviews, but I had to share my experience with this one. I'm a mom of many kids, and after having my last baby, my milk supply wasn't the greatest. I was only pumping about 3–4 ounces every three hours, and I was getting discouraged because my baby is eating more than that now. I was honestly close to giving up. I decided to buy this pump during the Prime sale, and I'm so glad I did! Yes, pumping with your hands takes a little getting used to, but my very first session with it, I pumped 6 ounces! I've never pumped that much before. Despite all the negative reviews, this pump has been amazing for me. I also absolutely love the soft silicone inserts—they fit comfortably and feel much gentler than many other pumps I've tried.
