These paddles are quite solid once they are locked. The locking mechanism is really easy to use. These can be adjusted and have markings to help with knowing the riders correct length. These are also very lightweight which is huge for portability, as I normally have to do a bit of a hike to reach the river. They are a bit on the pricy side, but should hold up for some rugged adventures. ... show more
