The Alpha Angler Glass paddle from has a large blade that can move a lot of water, making it ideal for covering long distances on lakes or maneuvering rapids in rivers. The orangle blade offers outstanding visibility in areas with heavy boat traffic, and the glass composite material is extremely strong. After almost a year of use, my blade looks almost new, and the total swingweight is low for an adjustable glass paddle. The adjustable ferrule makes it great for paddlers with multiple boats or who paddle in a variety of conditions, and the length can be adjusted on the fly. Excellent paddle. The blade design gives it the power to move the bigger heavier fishing kayaks. The adjustable length is nice for when your changing back and forth between the high and low seating in a fishing kayak. I find that i need a little more length when in the high seat position in my fishing kayak. ... show more

Love everything about this paddle!! was a little more expensive but I could definetly tell I could paddle faster, easier, and like the adjuestments on the paddle. Only down side is paddling through weedy areas. constatly hooked weeds in the notch of the paddle for grabbing fishing line and what not.
