  • How to replace your old fit meter with one of these
The seller shipped promptly, the item works. I'm writing this because I at first had a hard time getting this to work--not the seller's fault. I lost my old fit meter, and bought these 2 for a replacement and an extra. The gamepad would not accept the new fit meter. After many tries, finally found how to do it -- Start your wii fit program, select a user (the mii whose fit meter is being replaced) -- in the Wii Fitness Plaza, tap your mii figure, and all the settings for that mii will appear -- you'll see fit meter settings as a choice -- go there -- hit the DELETE REGISTRATION button -- once your old lost or washing-machined fit meter is DELETED from your gamepad, then your new meter can be synced with your gamepad, just by starting up the gamepad as you normally would, and pushing your new fit meter's middle button on cue, window to window, just as you routinely did with your old one. Then your new fit meter will work and be able to share with the gamepad. ... show more

  • Love my Fit Meter
I love my Wii U Fit Meter. Last Year I lost 25 lbs in 5 months while playing Wii Fit, this year I decided to upgrade to a Wii U and get Wii U Fit. With the new game came a Wii U Fit Meter, since I already use a FitBit Charge HR I gave the meter to the other member of my household to use but after seeing it in action and the ability to complete walking and altitude challenges I had to get one myself. I wear it in addition to my FitBit because I like the sleep tracking, Heart rate and silent alarms that the FitBit offers but I love my fit meter for tracking my steps and altitude. I tried initially to use it by clipping it to the inside of my pocket for fear of losing it. However I found that it was not tracking my steps properly and moved it to my belt. It is much more accurate clipped to my belt. ... show more

  • Accurate steps
I love this little thing. Bought 3 more in case I lose one, or it dies on me. It stays pretty well on some of my pants; jeans are the best pants it stays put on. It gets a bit annoying when I'm sitting, because sometimes it gets just in the right spot, and starts all it's beeping because the buttons are being pressed down. Does that a lot when I have to have in my pocket, since it just won't stay on some of my pants at all. But otherwise, it seems to be pretty accurate. Did a test where I tried to trick it into adding steps by moving it back and forth in a few different ways/speeds, and I didn't fool it. Then I put it on and counted my own steps and compared it, and it was right on. ... show more

  • Ordered one for my husband, too!
I ordered this because I was using the fit meter that came with our Wii Fit U game and my husband wanted in on the fun. The meter arrived in a plain clear plastic bag (the bulk packaging). It was brand new, no scrapes or imperfections. These are fairly sturdy. My husband and I both wear them to work. Once my husband figured out how to disable the sound effects, they were even better. We love the fit meters. We can go for a walk or just go about our day and still get credit on Wii Fit U without having to play the provided games. The fit meter holds about a week worth of data. I went on a camping trip and uploaded all of the data at once without any problem. ... show more

  • just donut forget to also buy lanyard...or arts n crafty string tie will also do...
Id have to say one of the most novel ideas of late recency in the gaming world. I myself consider it really to be a virtua pet/mii gnomey. Really i think that nin borrowed the playstaion / dreamcast cao cao in a hinfull type view point on this item. In some other aspects i.e. it being a pedometer altitude meter just takes what fitness experts have been doing on pen and paper and with theyre otherwise expectional somtimes questionable gadgets. Not to miss as well ad the system it goes to. Nin ...in a lot of ways its more of a magical gaming experience to own somthing underated and overlooked by such a large. As the j man would tell everbody plus the g man...in the ninja idea department boy is sony a massive fail... ... show more

  • works great with the wii fit u!
got this for the wife after i got one. she had gotten the fitbit and returned it because she didnt like how it felt on her wrist. so my solution was for her to try one of these that i had gotten. she likes this much better. it can go in her pocket or clip onto it. syncs with the game just fine and she likes it. very neat to see these sync with the different things in the wii fit u game. these are very accurate and work well. the display is a nice size too. another plus is the cost, id much rather lose one of these than a $90+ expensive fitness tracker. ... show more
