  • Works great with my Wii
This motion sensor is great for my Wii!! I bought the wii used and the previous owners had lost the motion sensor, and this one works great as a replacement. It doesn’t lag and was easy to install. The cable is a nice length too!

Edit : replacement ordered, I could tell it was working the minute I plugged it in 🤩 sensitivity & distance connectivity are work as it should Not working. Only the right side of the sensor bar was working. Tried using a camera to view IR lights but saw nothing though it could be my camera. The sensor bar would not work more than 2-3ft away, disappointed ... show more

  • Worked pefect for wiis
Had a wii but didn't have the sensor. After many years of it being in storage we decided to pull it back out for the little ones we ordered this one and it works perfectly

  • Dead on arrival
Dead on arrival - No lights visible through my phone camera, no reaction from the wii remotes. Very cheaply made, looks like other reviews agree, it breaks easy in transit. It's not like it needs to be tough, I imagine if it was just packaged better it wouldn't break so much.

  • Reliable Wii Sensor Bar Replacement, but Durability Concerns
I purchased the Eanetf Wii Sensor Bar (Wired Infrared, Compatible with Nintendo Wii and Wii U) about three weeks ago to replace our original Wii sensor bar, which my cat chewed through during a move. With my 10- and 11-year-old nephew and son eager to play Wii Sports and Mario Kart in our living room, I needed a quick, affordable fix to get our Wii back in action. After using it for 10-15 gaming sessions, here’s my detailed take on its performance, including pros, cons, and tips for other Wii users. How I Used It The Eanetf sensor bar is a wired infrared replacement (9.4 inches long, 50g) with a 7.2-foot cable, designed to track Wiimote motion for Wii and Wii U consoles. I plugged it into the sensor bar port on our Nintendo Wii (not Wii U), mounted it on top of our 42-inch LED TV using the included adhesive stand, and aligned it with the TV’s center, as recommended by Nintendo’s setup guide. I tested it with Wii Sports (bowling, tennis), Mario Kart Wii, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, playing from 6-8 feet away with two Wiimotes (MotionPlus enabled). I adjusted the Wii’s sensor bar sensitivity to level 3 and cleaned the bar with a dry cloth to maintain IR signal clarity. Pros Seamless Plug-and-Play: Setup was a breeze—plug the Wii-specific connector into the console, mount the stand, and play. It worked instantly with no calibration, tracking Wiimote movements as well as the original, as noted in Amazon reviews. Accurate Motion Tracking: The LED infrared array precisely tracked our Wiimotes during fast-paced Wii Sports bowling and Skyward Sword’s sword swings, even at 8 feet, offering a smooth experience for action games, per Yahoo Shopping’s description. Long Cable: The 7.2-foot cable allowed flexible placement, reaching from our TV stand to the Wii console tucked in a cabinet below, a feature praised by Walmart buyers for convenience. Sturdy Stand: The adhesive stand held firmly on our TV’s smooth bezel, keeping the bar aligned without slipping, unlike my friend’s wireless bar that fell off. The stand’s design is sleek and unobtrusive, as Amazon users mentioned. Great Value: At $7-$10, it’s a budget-friendly replacement compared to Nintendo’s official bar ($15-$20 on eBay), saving me money for other family activities like trampoline pads, as noted by a reviewer for its cost-effectiveness. Cons Fragile Cable: The 7.2-foot cable feels thin and less durable than the original Wii bar’s, a concern echoed in Amazon reviews about fragile wires. I’m extra careful to keep it away from my cat to avoid another chew incident. Limited Range: Beyond 8 feet, the Wiimote cursor became jittery, especially in Skyward Sword, requiring me to step closer, as one Amazon user reported losing signal at 8 feet. Adjusting sensitivity to level 4 helped slightly. Questionable Longevity: After three weeks, it works fine, but some Amazon reviews reported IR lights failing within days or weeks, raising concerns about durability. I’ll update if issues arise. No USB Option: Unlike some Aokin or SOONORY bars that use USB power, this requires the Wii-specific plug, limiting use with PCs or emulators, a drawback for tech-savvy users, per Amazon comparisons. Comparisons Compared to the Aokin Wired Sensor Bar ($8-$10), the Eanetf has a longer cable but no USB option, per Amazon. The JINHEZO Wired Bar ($9) is nearly identical in design and performance but feels sturdier, per Amazon reviews. My friend’s HDE Wireless Sensor Bar ($15) avoids cable clutter but requires batteries and has syncing issues, unlike Eanetf’s reliable wired setup. The original Nintendo Wii Sensor Bar (eBay, $15-$20) has five IR LEDs per side for better range, while Eanetf likely has three, per a Reddit user’s analysis, but costs less. For PC emulation, SOONORY’s USB bar ($10) is more versatile, per Amazon. The Eanetf suits my basic Wii console needs, matching my budget and plug-and-play preference, like my FORLIM grinder’s kitchen simplicity. Tips for Buyers Check Connector: Confirm your Wii or Wii U uses the proprietary sensor bar plug, not USB, as this isn’t PC-compatible, per Yahoo Shopping’s note. Position Carefully: Mount the bar on top of your TV, centered, for optimal tracking, and set the Wii’s System Settings to “Above TV,” per Nintendo’s guide. Below-TV placement reduced accuracy for me. Protect the Cable: Keep the thin cable away from pets or foot traffic to avoid damage, as I learned from my cat’s chewing. Use cable ties to secure it, addressing Amazon’s fragility concerns. Adjust Sensitivity: If the cursor jitters beyond 6-8 feet, increase the Wii’s sensor bar sensitivity to level 4 in Settings, as suggested by an Amazon reviewer. Who Should Buy This? The Eanetf Wii Sensor Bar is ideal for Wii or Wii U owners needing a budget-friendly, plug-and-play replacement for a lost or damaged sensor bar, especially for family gaming with kids playing titles like Wii Sports or Mario Kart. It’s great for casual setups but not for PC emulation or users needing long-range tracking (>8 feet). For wireless or USB options, consider HDE or SOONORY bars, per Amazon. Overall, this sensor bar revived our Wii gaming nights, letting my kids enjoy bowling and racing with spot-on motion tracking. It’s affordable and functional, though I’m cautious about the cable’s durability. I’d buy it again for the price but might explore JINHEZO for a sturdier build next time. If you’ve used this or have Wii accessory tips, share in the comments—I’d love to hear your thoughts! ... show more
