For some reason my new laptop's internal wireless card refused to connect with the internet. Despite trying many workarounds, suggestions, and updates, it would not connect. I bought this little dongle and within minutes of being plugged in to my usb port, I was connected to the internet. It was easy to use, very plug and go. I would highly recommend.

The wifi ony Dell laptop went kaput. Over $200 to fix at Dell. This USB WiFi adapter got me back online for a fraction. Works most excellent đź‘Ś.

I have tried a number of different 'solutions' to my speed problem. I haveAt&t All-fi internet air service. My laptop at my desk several rooms away from router. My laptop is juat a little over the hill. onboard 802.11 adapter was only capable of 2.4G. This new little (thumb-sized) adapter gave me true 5G speed I did not have previously. Setup wss easy. Plug device into USB. Driver install should autos start Install the driver then restart you computer. disable your onboard NIC. click on your network icon in your system tray on Windows. My machine is running windows 11 64 bit Home. My average Speed test now affords me 80 Mbps performance download and about 8 Mbps upload. very worthwhile solution in my opinion.

The size of this thing is awesome, so small and compact. It’s advertised as plug and play, which is it was with the windows 10 and 11 systems I used it on. I was slightly confused when I first inserted it because it appeared as a memory card. After a five second self sanity check I navigated to the folder to discover it included the Windows driver files on-board just in case. It outperformed my HP all-in-one when searching for wireless networks by about 20%. It consistently identified more SSID’s in the area and was able to securely connect to systems with weak or marginal coverage. Speed testing was also favorable. The device accurately reported network bandwidth capacity and delivered faster transmission rates on both bands than my other wifi6e devices. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t the same on Linux or Mac. In both cases the adapter wasn’t readily available as a network connection. I couldn’t get a connection at all in Linux. The drivers included on the stick itself weren’t compatible and the model number had no relevant online search results. When connected to an M1 MacBook Pro the device did power on and get IP assigned however internet access was only granted to Safari, other apps reported being online. I should mention I’ve spent less than hour total with this item on 6 different systems so your results may vary. I needed this for a very specific purpose and it does that exceptionally well. I hoped it would just work on Linux so I tried two different builds and a virtual Linux running on Mac OS. Highly recommended for simple Windows networking but proceed with caution on other OS.
