This dishwasher works great installed in my RV. The worst part of camping was always having to wash dishes by hand. I solved this problem by permanently installing this dishwasher in my RV. It has greatly reduced the amount of time it takes to wash dishes and makes camping a lot more fun. It does a great job washing the dishes and it's quiet enough we can run it while we sleep. It doesn't do a very good job at drying but that's not much of a concern for me. I've had it for two years now and would definitely buy it again. ... show more

    • Why did I not purchase one earlier????
I don't know why I didn't purchase this YEARS ago. I rent an older apartment that does not come with a dishwasher nor does it have the space or really the plumbing to install one. So for years dishes had piled up quickly. This attaches directly to the kitchen faucet and is easily/quickly removed when not in use. It does take up a large potion on my counter space, but to be honest, that space was usually filled with dirty dishes anyway. The only real downside is that its not tall enough for my larger dinner plates. My fault for buying giant square dishes. Nor does it have room for my cookie sheets, but it handles everything else just fine. I would recommend this to anyone that cannot install a full size dishwasher for whatever reason. ... show more

    • Works well and is very quiet
This dishwasher works well and is quiet. Whynter says the noise rating is less than 45 dBA and it is indeed very quiet. From the next room, I could only hear when the water was being expelled out the drain hose. There are different settings, and for expediency, I usually use the shortest wash (no drying) which is 45 minutes. It cleans fine. I’m happy with the purchase. ... show more

I have FAITH in this product. Look at it!!! Ok, I need to go get some aftermarket plumbing fitting. But Ace Hardware is down the street, literally! So, gonna get a "hose to faucet" adapter tomorrow for $6. OMG! I can't believe I have one!!!

    • Great performance but.....
I'm A bachelor and have reached the conclusion that I hate to do dished besides there are much more important things to do like watch Football...But seriously I CAREFULLY studied the available models and as of Summer 2019 this has a few more bells and whistles than other comparable makes. I'm certain that this model loves its new home in that it has a relatively light work load ( about 5 place settings worth of dishes a week..hey I said I'm a bachelor) / The machine aesthetics are nice with digital display and from my perspective a nice color scheme. Performance: Cycles The cycles ( there are 6) for some programs are a little long, but the machine performs really well, I'm generally not easily impressed but it does what it is supposed to do Flexibility: There are six varied cycles which provides for a nice degree of flexibility and the delayed start feature( standard in most machines with digital controls) is a real convenience Bells and Whistles: Options for Extra Drying and Extra Cleaning: During my research in the counter-top dishwasher categtory this is the only model that I found that has this feature- Extra Dry) . This is really helpful in that coupled with a drying aide your place-ware will be bone dry. Without a rinse aide they will be still mostly dry. But here is a tip just prop open the appliance and in 10-15 minutes they will be dry. But hey that's somewhat of a hassle isn't it. The Downs All is not rosy however. Whynter should really doe a quality assurance review on the supplied coupling mechanism. As a wise and saged statement goes " a chain is only as strong as its weakest link" The analogy is quite appropriate when applied to the coupling mechanism. I really studied the most appropriate faucet to use and had it professionally installed. The fly in the ointment is the screw-in adapter that used on your kitchen faucet. Now mind you I had a basic faucet installed nothing esoteric about the fixture it is your run of the mill kitchen faucet. The screw in adapter would not work in that during the appliances operation it would disengage from the faucet. Now mind you this is even after Teflon tape had been applied to then adapters threads. Again I cannot stress enough how this was a run of the mill basic kitchen faucet/...plumber approved. This led to disastrous consequence in that the adapter appeared to be installed and popped off and consequently allowed for a kitchen faucet to run wide open before being discovered (20-30 minutes) Words cannot fully express my rage that day. After about a week or so the screw in adapter finally seated properly. However that leads me to my second MAJOR issue. THE DAM ADAPTER LEAKS WHEN SNAPPED TO THE COUPLING THAT GOES TO THE WASHER. If your not familiar with counter-top dishwasher this is how they work. 1-Screw adapter into faucet with a rubber washer if necessary 2- Generally well most generally... Connect White Heavy Gauged Plastic connector that supplies water and allows for drainage from the machine This white plastic coupling is snapped onto the screw in adapter Solution: I was able to find an aftermarket adapter that worked flawlessly and solved the problem. If you research her on Amazon you will notice that this is a common problem heck there is even an Internet Review on a popular video streaming site that shows a machine hooked up and leaking while in use. For Whytner to allow for this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. ONCE THE PUZZLE WAS SOLVED THE MACHINES PERFORMANCE IS TOP NOTCH, BUT THE EXTRA HEADACHE IS SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.
