We alter feedings between dry and wet food, and the Whole Paws Indoor Chicken and Pea recipe dry is a winner. Excellent, healthy ingredients combined with a taste all our cats like. An added benefit is the inclusion of DL-Methionine, may reduce the likelyhood of developing urinary struvite crystals. What else is there to say!? Please note: Since I mentioned DL-Methionine, if you have a (male) cat prone to struvite crystals, you'll want to feed primarily wet food, and also supplement additional DL-Methionine in that wet food to keep the urine pH somewhere between 6 to 6.5. If a urinary tract infection is noted, a high-dose course of D-Mannose works incredibly well. Internet search for specific dosages of both. We've been through this with one of our male cats, and after years of costly "prescription" food, we stumbled on this information. Also, that's not to say prescription food isn't sometimes absolutely required. And always, ALWAYS, make sure your male cat is super hydrated. You MUST keep the urine from becoming too concentrated... this is essential to help prevent blockage. Add plenty of water to their food, or manually feed water using a syringe. Remember, if your cats urinary tract IS blocked, you MUST get it to the vet. It is an absolute emergency situation. I hope this info helps someone else.

Bought this as a healthier alternative to treats like Temptations, and they're apparently just as desirable by the cats, but in the last month all three kitties have started throwing up immediately after eating this. Did they change the recipe? To my limited human senses it looks and smells the same. I do not know what is wrong, but I won't be buying it again. It's so hard to know what is best for our pets--all they can communicate to us is whether or not they like a food's flavor and texture.

Used to feed her Nutrish, and she was always like, eh sure I'll eat it later when I feel like it. Once I switched to this though, she definitely has shown a much greater interest in eating the MOMENT there is food in the bowl. So, ya know.. I think that means she likes this one more?

I bought this brand to try something different. Both my cats liked every flavor. They did not like anything else like this. It works well for us.

My cats have special dietary needs and this suites all of their needs and appetites. Urinary tract health is amazingly better!! The difference in other food allergy symptoms is there are no more symptoms of food allergy.
