Faithfully purchased the Allegro (previous packaging / branding) version of this coffee for maybe 10 years. Finally figured out this was the successor to my discontinued favorite, and bought eight packages to last me through an extended RV trip. The packaging was defective on every single bag (couldn't be closed with the tie because the glue seal was in the wrong place and I had to cut below the tie to open). Now I'm shopping for my next batch, wondering if I should risk it again, and the rate hike since the last purchase is just too much anyway. I'll find something new. ... show more

Whole coffee beans , this smelled so good when I put them in my grinder. The coffee tasted and smelled so nice. Filled the room with the nice aroma. The taste is great solo or with milk and flavor. Good deal.

This is a box of 10 individual serving coffee bags in organic dark roast, from Whole Foods. It arrived fresh and factory sealed. I have a whole coffee setup and that's great most of the time, but sometimes I want a cup of coffee fast, and I very much prefer it to be good coffee and not grocery store instant. These coffee bags, similar to tea bags, work great for those times. This is a dark roast coffee, and it is a good one. It has the fudge and molasses notes mentioned on the label. I also think of deep dark chocolate cake when I drink this. I love that it is USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified. If you are a fan of dark roast coffee and would like the convenience of steeping a bag like you would steep tea, you will really like this coffee. ... show more
