My church is having a Preacher Pounding. In case you don't know, it's a welcome party for the new preacher and the congregation gives the family foods, life a bag of flour, sugar, coffee, etc.. As a way to get to know the congregation, our new preacher asked for our favorite recipes and we decided to include the nonperishable ingredients for our recipes. I crochet (aimlessly), so i added a throw that i made. I needed a basket. This basket is exactly the right size and it may serve another purpose. My stuff is a little heavy but this basket is strong enough to handle the weight and it's sturdy. I like it. I put gifts in useful things rather than in expense gift wrap that is immediately thrown away. I previously purchased a larger version of this basket & was very pleased; So, when I needed a smaller size, I chose the same basket. The basket is extremely durable and hold up to the weight of several magazines. The handles on the sides make it very easy to lift and carry. Highly recommend!
