My church is having a Preacher Pounding. In case you don't know, it's a welcome party for the new preacher and the congregation gives the family foods, life a bag of flour, sugar, coffee, etc.. As a way to get to know the congregation, our new preacher asked for our favorite recipes and we decided to include the nonperishable ingredients for our recipes. I was happy to find the exact same bins I bought quite a few years ago. I needed 2 more and found them on Amazon. What's great about these bins is that they really do last and is so easy to clean. It's like a woven (almost) safety belt type material over a wire frame. You can pretty much carry bricks in them and it would hold up. It seems that they are selling them still after all these years and I hope they will keep on selling them - I may need more in a few years! ... show more

I keep this tote under my desk as a paper recycling container. It's great because if I'm working on something and I can't get up at the moment to go put a piece of paper in the main recycling bin, I can just reach my hand down and plop it in the tote. When it fills up, I just take it and pour all of it into my main paper recycling bin. Helping the planet one sticky note at a time. Other aspects: the woven straps are firm, but have necessary 'give' to it. I got the espresso colored one--looks sleek and modern, whatever that means. Another possible use for the tote: I can imagine that it would be fun--and satisfying--to pour bags of coffee beans into this tote and shake it horizontally, or vertically (you naughty children) like a Christmas present. I use 2 of these baskets to hold towels on top of toilets in 2 bathrooms in our house, and 1 of the big version of this for laundries. Over the time using them, taking and putting towels in and out of the baskets everyday I’m starting to notice brown metal scratches on the wall where the baskets leaning against. Turns out the 4 corners of these baskets have been scratching my wall! I bought these like 2 years ago never thought that these would be damaging my house! Never been paying attention to the things they are leaning near until recently I noticed scratches everywhere. 1st is the laundry room, I noticed lots of big scratches on the dryer where I always have the big basket around while doing laundries, and trust me it’s definitely this basket has been doing all the scratches because I never have other things near our dryer in our laundry room, and basing on the color of the scratches too, ya, plus it’s Metal on the 4 corners, what else you think. So 1st I found out our new dryer now all scratched up and can’t reverse. Then our baby’s crib has big scratch on the vertical side bars since sometimes I have the big basket near the crib doing the folding cloth work. Then I checked the walls where these small baskets lean against, there they are, brown scratches too, that’s not just paint that could be wiped off. They are all metal deep permanently damaged scratches that’s gonna be there forever. These baskets have been damaging my house and furnitures and appliances and I didn’t even know! Now my new dryer looks so dirty and ugly with all the brown and black scratches and I can’t do anything about it to make it look new again. I take every good of my appliances, the dryer now is the only thing looks old and bad shape in my house. Since I can’t return them anymore I don’t wanna waste money throwing them away, now I put duck tape on all corners of these 3 baskets I have. They don’t look good with duck tapes on them but at least won’t be damaging my stuff now, hopefully anymore. Lately we need to use 1 more big size laundry busker so we went to the store and got a brown color plastic one with lid, omg way better. I definitely won’t recommend this metal coroners baskets.
