    • Stopped the damage
The factory one started to peel up. Rather than have debris stuck between the crease I removed it. Took too long to replace it using this. Started to develop a hard crack in the screen. After applying this protector it adhered very well down the middle and after weeks of use has not developed any sign of coming up. Now smooth to swipe. Applying it takes some finessess. I have small waves and wrinkles you have to hold the phone sideways to even see. Impossible to me to not have some of that. I decided not to use a mist of water during install.     • A big disappointment
As someone who works with cell phones daily, I've always known Whitestone to be a reputable brand. Now I've never personally used them before, but I've had plenty of my customers use them before with nothing but praise. So, when dozens of z fold 3 users and myself had their pre installed screen protectors bubble up, I was rocking the phone for a while without a replacement protector. So, after kicking around the idea for a bit, I decided to get Whitestone's protector because of all the positive reviews I read and saw on videos. Now this is where things start to go bad. I don't know if this was UPS or Whitestones fault, but it did look like this was a returned product. The package was partly mangled and resealed with tape on the bottom. After inspecting the contents, my belief that it was a return was begining to hold strong because the alchohol wipe and micro fiber cloth were missing, and the plastic topper piece that sits on top of the screen protector was abscent as well. I personally have a micro fiber and alchohol wipesnat the ready, but the plastic holder left me worried. However it wasn't needed causd I was able to do the installation without the protector popping outnof its holding pins. The protector though did cause some problems. The first was the creation of some bubbles that wouldn't go away. I was going to ignore them, cause I thought I wouldn't notice them when the screen was on. Nope, those bubbles were there and not hidden in the slightest. The other big problem was the adhesive. I gave the phone a few hours to sit so the adhesive had time to settle, and after a few folds, I heard a familiar crunch sound that I heard with the last protector, and the adhesive failed to hold. So, at the end of the day, I'm out 20 bucks, I obviously can't return it, and my faith in this brand has been tarnished.     • Better than factory screen protector!
If you are like me, someone who struggled to find a decent screen protector for the Z-fold 3, look no further. I never write reviews but felt I had to with this because I was so frustrated with buying and trying screen protectors for my Z fold 3 big screen that came off almost immediately. The factory protector was awful and a warranty replacement made no sense to me because it sucks, why do I want another one? This protector I have had on my phone since January and have had no issues, no lifting, no bubbles, nothing. I very highly recommend using this as the replacement to the crappy Samsung factory protector! Just know if you remove your factory one, your warranty is void but it is only a 1 year anyway, it was worth it to me to use this protector instead.     • Great OEM Replacement
Like others on here, my fold 3's original screen protector started peeling away from the center folding part of the screen. I was quite happy with the one that it came with and wanted an equally nice replacement since you buy this phone for the big main screen. I followed the video guide and got this protector installed almost perfect. I missed one piece of dust, but the tools it comes with makes lining everything up very easy. If you take the time to install this properly I would recommend it. I'll update my review if the protector doesn't hold up over time but as of installation I am very happy with the clarity and feel. It is a bit more expensive than the generic ones but for a folding device, I think it is worth it. If it came with 2 film sheets for the price to allow for one reapplication I think it would be perfect but I would still recommend it as is ... show more

    • Screen film separated the full length of the fold after 12 days
Like most others, I bought this as it seemed to have the best no-way-to-mess-up installation. The jig for installation was the draw. Indeed the installation went flawlessly. There were no bubbles or dust. For seven days it worked. Then on the eight day I noticed a small separation at the top of fold. I immediately put it back in the jig and used the squeegee While the center of bubble readhered to the screen there was a thin line around the edge. Over the next 5 days the bubble traveled all the way down to the bottom of the folding crease. I kept trying to reattach the film to the screen using the squeegee but the thin line was always at the edge of the bubble and it just continued it's progression down the screen, I finally took it to an authorized Samsung repair station (ubreakitifixit) and paid $45 for a genuine samsung screen protector. I will repost in 1, 3, and 6 months as to how the Samsung fix has worked. ** 1 month update: The Samsung repair station installed film is still perfect. No lifting or bubbles. As a side note- whitestone contacted me and asked for proof of the failed dome. I sent them a photograph and they responded that they would send me a replacement.
