I peeled the backing off this 9H+ privacy tempered glass screen protector because scrolling through bank statements or answering text messages on public transit without a privacy filter feels like projecting your personal life onto an IMAX screen for the entire commuter car to judge. In a world full of wandering eyeballs and shameless neck-craners, I needed a piece of glass that treats side angles like classified military air space. Aligning that black-bordered glass slab over the bright, flat AMOLED display immediately hurled me back to the computer lab in the winter of 1998. Specifically, the heavy, louvered 3M plastic privacy filters that the strict school librarian slapped onto the bulky CRT monitors to prevent students from glancing at each other’s typing tests. I waited to write a review until I had to change my screen protector. Well the day has come....10 months after purchasing it. Let me start by saying, I am tough on my phone. Dropping it multiple times a day, throwing it in my backpack or purse, having the occasional student throw it. So I'm the target demographic for this! The one and only reason I changed it out for a second screen protector it's because I had one tiny spot that was slightly discolored one of my students pointed out to me that looked to be dust by the camera (probably been there since I installed it but never noticed), and it's driven me crazy ever since. Other than that, despite my hundreds, probably close to thousand drops of my phone; a lot face down on the concrete; this screen protector never chipped, scratched or cracked. Even spilled coffee hasn't gotten under the edges. The privacy aspect is absolutely stellar! Installation is so easy. The alignment tool is so nice. Highly recommend this if you're anything like me and despite your best efforts, your phone takes a lot of tumbles.

I was worried about putting a non-Apple product on my new iPhone 14 Pro, but the protruding lenses are just begging to be scratched and cracked, so I decided to give this a shot. I’ve only had it on one day, so I can’t speak to its longevity, but it’s great so far. Be sure to clean the camera lenses as well as the flash and surface area bc this protector adheres to all surfaces surrounding the lenses and flash. Gently get into the nooks and crannies around each lens bc once you get this protector on, I don’t think it’s easy to remove. As far as the appearance, it’s very simple and streamlined, which is exactly what I wanted. It protrudes quite a bit, but only just enough to protect the lenses. It’s much nicer looking than I anticipated. The real test for this product was how much it interfered with image quality. I was shocked to see that there doesn’t appear to be ANY loss of quality. I took two photos before applying this protector, and two of the same exact objects using the same settings. I took the photos of Christmas lights with our Elf on the Shelf in the middle in dim lighting to make things really challenging. For both pairs of photos, the one to the left is before applying the lens and the one to the right in each pair is after applying the protector. I only have two concerns - The adhesive on this is pretty strong, so I worry it will damage the phone when removed. Second, there is a small hole in the protector in front of the little dot to the right of the lenses. My uneducated guess is that it serves to measure depth or lighting conditions? Regardless, I assume there is no cover over that part for a reason, so I trust the design. That said, if dust, dirt, sand, or anything smaller than a tiny pebble gets in that hole, I have no clue how you’d get it out without prying the protector off.

I have been buying these screen protectors for my phones for years and have always been extremely satisfied with the quality. Honestly, I was 100% loyal to this brand because I had never found anything better on Amazon. Unfortunately, the latest version is a disappointment. They changed the design of the glass, making it smaller and removing the black border around the edges. I honestly don’t understand why, because the black border on the previous version never caused any problems or interfered with the screen in any way. They also changed the installation frame, and now there is another issue: after installation, a visible line of uneven or lifted adhesive remains at the top of the screen near the speaker. This was never a problem with the previous version. I really hope the manufacturer brings back the old design and installation system. The previous version was perfect, and in my opinion, it was one of the best screen protectors available on Amazon. I would gladly continue buying them if they return to the original design.

Great screen protector that provides privacy in the public. Fingerprints work well as - make sure to reregister your prints after installation. Installation was easy with the supplied kit. But they break easy I think and this is my third time purchasing for my S25 plus.
