It fell and hit the cast iron burner grate screen first. The screen protector did it's job! Of course it broke but when I peeled the protector, the phone was fine with no damage. My initial package unfortunately was taken from my front porch and I did not receive them, however, Amazon worked with me and got another shipment out to me within the next 24 hours. Hours. I have placed the new protective glass on my Google pixel 10 Pro XL and the install was very simple.     • Doesn’t seem to interfere w image quality

I was worried about putting a non-Apple product on my new iPhone 14 Pro, but the protruding lenses are just begging to be scratched and cracked, so I decided to give this a shot. I’ve only had it on one day, so I can’t speak to its longevity, but it’s great so far. Be sure to clean the camera lenses as well as the flash and surface area bc this protector adheres to all surfaces surrounding the lenses and flash. Gently get into the nooks and crannies around each lens bc once you get this protector on, I don’t think it’s easy to remove. As far as the appearance, it’s very simple and streamlined, which is exactly what I wanted. It protrudes quite a bit, but only just enough to protect the lenses. It’s much nicer looking than I anticipated. The real test for this product was how much it interfered with image quality. I was shocked to see that there doesn’t appear to be ANY loss of quality. I took two photos before applying this protector, and two of the same exact objects using the same settings. I took the photos of Christmas lights with our Elf on the Shelf in the middle in dim lighting to make things really challenging. For both pairs of photos, the one to the left is before applying the lens and the one to the right in each pair is after applying the protector. I only have two concerns - The adhesive on this is pretty strong, so I worry it will damage the phone when removed. Second, there is a small hole in the protector in front of the little dot to the right of the lenses. My uneducated guess is that it serves to measure depth or lighting conditions? Regardless, I assume there is no cover over that part for a reason, so I trust the design. That said, if dust, dirt, sand, or anything smaller than a tiny pebble gets in that hole, I have no clue how you’d get it out without prying the protector off. ... show more

    • Privacy film adds a grainy texture to images
Color: Samsung S24 Ultra 6.8 INCH-Black
The privacy film adds a sort of diagonal, grainy texture to images. Like you're viewing the screen through a tilted screen door. It's not very visible in photos. But it's easily apparent on solid blocks of color. Especially if there's motion underneath it (video). I dunno why the motion would make it more visible, but it does. It's hard to see if you're holding the phone at arm's length. But it becomes obvious whenever you look at close detail. All the original resolution of detail is there, but subjectively it makes it look like your screen is lower resolution and the image is dithered. I'm debating whether to just live with it, or give up on privacy screen protectors and wait for Samsung's in-screen tech to become mainstream. Fingerprint recognition is also affected. A light touch no longer works. But pressing down significantly harder does get it to work about 80% of the time. Annoying, but not a potential deal-breaker like the grainy image. I'll see if I can get used to it over the next couple weeks. ... show more

    • Amazingly good screen protectors, not sunglasses-compatible
Color: Google Pixel 9 Pro XL-Black
These screen protectors work perfectly with the Pixel 9 Pro XL, including the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. There's some loss of display brightness, typical of "privacy" screen protectors, but the screen is still easily readable in outdoor sunlight. They don't play well with polarized sunglasses -- you'll only be able to see your screen in portrait or landscape orientation, but not both. The Pixel 9 Pro series is notoriously picky about screen protectors, because of its ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. I tried a few different brands claiming compatibility, and most of them were terrible. These work perfectly with the fingerprint sensor. Installation is, as usual, pretty easy. An alignment frame is provided, but isn't strictly necessary if you're used to installing screen protectors. The most important thing is to install it in a clean environment and make sure the screen is absolutely free of dust before installing -- once you get a dust mote under there, there will be a bubble forever, and it's hard to get the dust off once it's stuck, so the protector is effectively ruined. Less excited about the rear-camera protectors. They work, and will certainly protect the camera glass, but they seem to be the same ones included in most of these all-in-one kits. They're quite thick, and lint accumulates in the openings for the lenses (a somewhat necessary tradeoff, at least in the case of the IR temperature sensor -- those can't see through glass). They stick with a rather tenacious adhesive, and once they're on, they tend to only come off in pieces, and with the application of such force that some might fear breaking the phone. ... show more
