First off, I’m baffled at all the good reviews of this product, but if you start reading them, most just talk about how handy this is because it’s a small amount and convenient to use instead of buying a can and brushes. From that lens, this probably is a good call. I did notice it matches my white trim baseboards, so it could probably be fine for touchups etc. I got it to put a final coat on an electric guitar body I bought and stripped so I could paint it white. I can tell you without any qualms at all that this product is terrible from start to finish. The highest quality part of this gimmicky mess is the seal on the container. I don’t know where they got it, but it’s super high quality and no chance whatsoever of getting paint out of this without piercing the seal and then removing it piece by piece. I made quite a mess eventually stabbing it with a pen and pulling the pieces off. I included a picture after foolishly trying to peel the seal off. I was pretty concerned about the brush because it was cheap looking and only held together with a chunk of plastic, and it exceeded my expectations. Bristles started coming out during the first pass. I’d have to stop and remove them, but after the fifth or sixth one I just loaded the brush with paint and put on a much thicker layer than I wanted. It didn’t help with the bristles shedding, so I put the first coat on and waited. Whatever this paint it is, it doesn’t level and shows every brush mark. I’m sure there will be people yelling at their phones and computer that I did something wrong with application, but I waited for it to dry and tried another application. It does dry quickly, but it dried with the brush marks still very visible, so the paint isn’t very good and the quality of the brush is just as low as I could see from looking at it. Coverage was decent, not terrible, but from a value for money standpoint, I’m going to have to sand all this down to smooth everything out and try to get a decent surface back. I expected to apply, sand lightly and then lacquer. I’m probably going to wind up sanding down through the other layers of primer I had on the body to get this leveled and smooth, so I’ll probably go back to spraying on another couple layers of white after I sand all this off. Overall, using this product set me back on my project pretty significantly, can’t and won’t recommend it. Just to add insult to injury, this stuff doesn’t sand well either, so I’m stripping the guitar body again to start over. Guess I’ll go with a dark stain. ... show more

Easy to use, but much messier than the pre-filled rollers. Drips a lot too so be sure to have something down to cover where you're working. I finished my project with the rollers without a messy issue. Coated okay, good color, dried quick- just too messy for a prefilled
