UPDATE: After 4 emails requesting me to edit my review in return for compensation (I don’t want compensation and did not accept it) I decided to give the seller what they are asking for, partially. First off, I will say the desks are still going strong, albeit it’s been 4 months since I put them together, we don’t have issues with them showing any signs of falling apart or wearing down with teens so 5 stars to that! I’m not going to sugar coat the assembly, see review below, it sucks, it definitely takes work to get the drawers in, and I won’t be dishonest so other purchasers run into similar issues and assume everything with this desk is the best thing ever, then get frustrated and want to toss the drawers out the window because they won’t go in without a fight. I put 3 together, and each one was the same. Sorry seller, I cannot be dishonest about a product and compensation won’t change my mind. I won’t give you one star out of spite or petty behavior like I thought, however I won’t change it from the 3. 5 stars for the quality of the desk (after 4 months only) 1 Star for beggars behavior and repetitive email requests to change my personal opinion on your products. You get a solid 3, and you’re welcome. Original review is below: I got three of these, one for each of my kids. 1 out of 3 had the holes pre-made for the drawers, I had to make holes for the other 2. The drawers are very difficult to get in, the tracks are cheaply made, but you get what you pay for. Overall it was easy to put together and is sturdy (so far), perfect for preteens/teens for a laptop or small computer set up. 2 of 3 had minor cosmetic damages but it isn’t noticeable once it’s together, it’s on the sides, still not what should have been sent, but it is what it is. 1 of 3 came with the nuts inside the pieces and an entire pack of nuts, so I have a few extras. Packaging material SUCKS! It’s a static cling nightmare! I’ll be picking cheap styrofoam particles up for a while.

I absolutely love it; directions were super simple, it took me about an hour to put it all together by myself; I read a review saying it isn’t great for an adult but I am a 20 year old college student and I think it’s an absolute great size!

I read the reviews before purchasing. Thought...ok, well with 5 kids, I've built enough of this kind of stuff, how hard could it be?! Um... I build things from IKEA all the time (you know, with the horrible picture directions) and this was by far the hardest type of furniture like this that I have ever built. PLEASE don't waste your time or energy and just find a different one. First of all, it's been 3 hours and I still have the drawer left to do. The instructions are the worst I've ever seen. Half pictures that are not clear, are very small in size on the paper, things not labeled, pictures don't match pieces (if you're trying to compare what pieces have what holes). I found a video online that went so fast and didn't have anything labeled either, but at least that got me started after watching it in slow motion twenty times. So if you value your time, order a different one. Next... the drawer is only half as deep as what it would appear to be from the picture. The sides of the drawer are a little less than half the height of the drawer front. So it can't hold much...maybe a few smaller things. Don't plan on putting much in there. Next... For whatever reason, this desk top hangs over the back by quite a lot. Makes it look very odd and doesn't give much room for pushing a chair in or for your knees if your sitting. I've never built a desk where the base of the desk didn't come fairly flush to the wall. I keep looking at it thinking that surely I put something on backwards, but then I watch the video and realize I didn't. Next...plan on predrilling some of your own holes. Also, some of the holes are not in the right places, which wound up being ok after trying to make some minor adjustments. Last...I'll be very honest, the desk in the picture when ordering looks very nice. In my 12 year old daughters room, it looks like it came from the dollar store (don't get me wrong. I love the dollar store...). If you're still reading - my biggest complaint out of all of this would have to be how long it took to build. A desk like this should take 30-60 minutes tops. Not OVER 3 hours. If I had known all this ahead of time, I would have just sent it back but I had already invested too much time into it.

Very nice little desk. I bought it for my 8 year old. I’m not a big fan of compress wood but this was nice. Just wish the instructions was more ledgable. When putting the rails for the draw I didn’t realized they flipped the draw over in the picture. Not enough infor in the instructions. Oh and it was a copy of a copy. Hard to read it. Besides that, it a sturdy little desk.

I purchased the desk for my granddaughter’s birthday, and had it shipped to her as they live in another state. My daughter, her mother, was able to assemble the desk with minimal effort. All of the parts were enclosed, and good directions. My granddaughter absolutely loves her desk. I recently went for a visit, and upon walking in the house, she insisted that I immediately go look at her new desk. I had to also look at all the contents, she has stuffed in and on top of the desk. She loves her desk! It feels sturdy. Hopefully, she will enjoy the desk for a very long time.

The table arrived in great condition; it's sturdy, it's functional, it's a fantastic value for the price. However, putting together the desk was such a nightmare, I would not have purchased the desk if I knew how laborious it would be. I consider myself to be pretty good at assembling furniture. I own and assembled all my furniture by myself (IKEA, Amazon, Target). But this table had me at my limit. Assembling alone, it took me three hours and fourteen minutes. The directions have no words, only pictures. I attached a photo of "Step 7," which actually has three separate steps. Like I said, the desk is great. Just set an afternoon aside for assembling.
