Great Texture and Color
As a Registered Play Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health, I used this sand for sandtray therapy. It is soft, which is important in working with trauma survivors, as gritty or rough textures can be counterproductive. I like that it is dust-free, so children aren't breathing in dust from natural sand. I ended up buying 3 of the 5 pound boxes after finding out that one 5 pound box doesn't go very far. Probably 5 pounds is plenty for craft use, though. ... show more

More of an off white
It's not bright white like I was expecting. But it there was less dust like other sands.

Sand. Don’t eat it.
Great product. Keep in mind that 5lbs is probably much less than you are picturing.
