I ordered ivory 100% cotton fabric, clearly labeled as “high quality cotton.” What I received is absolutely not cotton. The material feels like synthetic raincoat fabric — it’s stiff, slightly shiny, and makes that characteristic rustling noise when handled. This product does not match the description at all. If you are looking for real cotton fabric, soft and breathable, do NOT buy this. However, if you actually need a synthetic, raincoat-like material, then this might work for you. Very disappointed with the misleading labeling.

Very nice fabric tight weave polished cotton! I know textiles so I do not know if the bad reviews are about getting an inferior product but this is definitely a very sturdy and useable product so much so that I just bought 5 yards of this in white to make pillow cases…..and it was 19.99. That’s 4.00 a yard. You certainly can’t do any better! Yes it is shiny but that’s the manufacturing process and I am thinking it’s long staple cotton I think I know what the concern is with the poor reviews. You must ensure the description reads cotton poplin As you can see its a great quilt backing

I've bought this fabric in many colors. Cut right before sewing because it does tend to fray a lot when handled. It's a nice cotton fabric. It's nice to handle, soft but not too soft. Value is good. Medium thickness, colors are exactly as images depict and handle really well for quilting.
